Matt Barker & Joel Evans for "Journey to Brotherhood"

A few of you requested me to follow up on how my 48 hour film did in the competition.

Out of 55 film eligible for competition/awards, we scored a few awards @ the 48 hour film fest.

- Best Directing
- Best Production Value
- 1st runner up - Best Cinematography
- 1st runner up - Best "Family" Film
- 2nd runner up - Best Film

Keep in mind we did everything from writing the script to filming to editing all in 48 hours form a supplied genre character and elements.

I wanted to do the 48 hour thing but the closest location was New Orleans and I never had the $ to do so. Very cool that you did.

Very impressive, specially for a rush job. I thought it was excellent too, but I figured "oh what do I know?"
I wonder what you could do if you had plenty of time; like a couple of days or so.

Nobody among us is surprised that you got the awards!

That video has made the rounds at work. It does hit close to home for many who have family/friends/co-workers over in the sandbox... and when you keep it in the context of the whole 48 hour gig, it's all the more impressive!

Next project could easily be filmed in Suches... mebbe show the dipshizzes at BMC marketing how it's done!!
