To walk a $5 ticket? I just found this irritating and amusing at the same time. I'm a server, and we have food and drink specials all day on Wednesdays. 4 guys have 5 drinks on a tab (10 oz drafts), 4 of them nearly full, and they're gone when I get out of the restsroom 5 min later. Geez... | ||

We're seeing alot more small item theft at Gander Mtn too. I think folks are taking the risks on small items thinking they aren't stealing that much and wont get into big trouble. In Wisconsin retail theft is a ticket. | ||

People just suck. I mean, stealing bread to feed your family, OK. But stealing beer you know you can't afford, because you're somehow entitled to your beer even though you maybe lost your job? Jeez dude. Rather than just live without, people just steal. Nice. | ||

Gonna have to start getting a DL on a customer before starting a tab. Some people are creeps....having less money just intensifies that. An honest person wouldn't do that no matter what the circumstances. | ||

I had a lady come in and apply for a job, So i walked her back to the back room and she filled out an application and left. We turned around and said where is the tomato for the hot dogs it was just here! We ran the video and she stole the tomato!! Even better she came back a week later pissed we hadn't called here for the job. The end is the best.......she couldn't pass the shape matching part of the application. LOL just circle the same shapes on the paper. | ||

Never run a cash Tab. Ask for a credit card and the the ID. Hold both till they are ready to settle up.If they still want to pay cash great. Give the credit card and ID back. If not run the credit card. If the credit card is no good keep both ID and credit card. | ||
