"What Court states is 100% true.GM/Ford do better overseas than here. China is the fastest growing market and is currently the second largest behind the US. I recall GM holds something in the are of 53% of the market share there, and sales are up 77%. They love Buick's." I bet you didn't know those Buicks are manufactured in CHINA. Shanghai General Motors Company Limited (Shanghai GM) is a joint venture between General Motors and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC). Shanghai GM manufactures and sells automobiles in mainland China. The company manufactures and sells Chevrolet, Buick, and Cadillac vehicles. Shanghai GM was founded on June 12, 1997 with 50% investment each from Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation and General Motors. Sounds like the average American gets a lot out of that deal |

"He just doesn't sound all that bright . . . I expect to see him on the ballot soon." You want to Denounce & Belittle Others while Hiding Behind a Keyboard. Real Lame. Still You are Nothing. |

You are out of line. Take a break. A timeout. Whatever. Just cease the hostility. Or just leave. Okay? |

Placing bets against me regarding GM is a foolish task, you would be better off just sending me checks in the mail and saving yourself the effort China has some really nice models, many of which put the US market Cadillacs to shame.

Well . . . that didn't work out quite like we planned. At least we'll be on Toyota's Christmas card list. |

Needless to say, this wouldn't of happened with the original plan, which limited it to domestic vehicles. Ok a few Toyoda's would of made the cut, but still it would help us overall more. Thank you BO for stimulating Japan and Korea! I read last night about a Maserati Biturbo with 18k miles is getting crushed. Made me shit a brick. |

The news today is that dealers, having done the 139 pages of paperwork, have only been reimbursed for 2% of sales. The Feds promised "within 3 days" and dealers have been waiting over a month to find out if their sales even qualify. It's looking like some dealers will be closing their doors as a RESULT of the Cash for Clunkers program. They bought into the tale and go snookered. |
