Me too but that silver coating was junk any time you buffed a spot it would turn a blackish hue. I am thinking about chroming it | ||

check ebay, x1's get parted out everyday, i wonder how many are actually still in working order...... personally an s1 would be the only other tuber i would buy, now and M2....  , oh i guess that is what the M stands for (mediocrity) | ||

I can't wait to see MJ-3. I vote for an XB flyscreen with the same old school Spiderman symbol on it. Oh and the sliver frame really set off the blue and red better than the "simbient goo" black frame, chrome would be really nice. Did I ever mention that I've always wanted to build a "Venom" version of MJ.  | ||

I would suggest plating the frame in Nickel instead of Chrome. It has a classy patina. Jay Hawley's S1 was done up like that and it was very sweet. | ||

Another good reason for nickel is that it won't crack from flexing...you won't find chrome on a Champion chassis. | ||
