Ebay prices have nothing to do with the actual value. See the 99 carbon fiber X1 that was bought on here for next to nothing and then showed up on ebay for twice the price. On the other hand, you can get some good parts cheap if you look around. Not everybody has a chunk of the parts book memorized with prices, and wouldn't know the actual cost of new pegs. The seller might be one of them. Also swapping on Lightning pegs is a common item on Busa's to get a nice drop, so someone not familiar with buell might jump on it. (Yes I know these are passenger pegs) | ||

First time I saw it it was around 10K (asking of course) then it was on for somewhere in the neighborhood of $7500 I think. After that I lost track of it. That happened last year too with a limited ed. paint set bike. | ||
