Does anybody know where I can get those small black & white Pegesus stickers that are shown on the pods of the new 1125RR previewed in the Buell racing topics? They would go real nice on my black full faired 1125R.

Hopefully they'll be EASY to get after the dealer meeting (starting the 25th?).

Hopefully after the dealer meeting . . . this "rebranding" has been handled worse than the introduction of the TT.

The Harley-Davidvson folks really need to get out of this stuff and Buell parts and accessories.

Damnit.
This after the new Buell Ad Group that was supposed to get it right?
Is this poor management on Harley's end?
Certainly not the new advertising people?

It seems that more than a few things have fell through the cracks.

It, from what I have seen, is on Harley-Davidson's end. The CPB folks have some great material and could do wonderfully. They need the Harley-Davidson "gum" off their shoes.

Many things are falling through the cracks.

I believe, from what I've seen here on BadWeb, with all the new and somewhat younger riders coming into Buells, that with our 1125's especially, Erik and his bikes have done more for advertising "the brand" then HD corporate could ever hope to do with their way of pushing "a life style". Just my take guys, don't get overly emotional now!

What could a company want more? There are a good amount of Buell owners here that would pay for their new swag, therefore becoming the best free word of mouth and branding army. I couldn't imagine a more perfect storm.

I have always thought companies that give free stickers have realized much more than the production costs in brand recognition.

Its not Buells fault in this, its HD's

Buell , In HD's Eyes, Will always be the Red-headed step child and will be treated as such.

It's not the "getting" of the stuff . . . it was the snotty way of telling lies and "rationing".

I have seen some really crappy treatment of Buell lately. But, it's happened before and it will pass.

We were told by Buell marketing in early May, that we couldn't use the new Pegasus logo on our Brew City Thunderbikes t-shirts.

But, I will say, the T-shirt outfit(I forget their name, they are the same folks that do all the "official" HD T-Shirts for the dealers) that did our shirt got us a FANTASTIC deal for the small quantity of shirts, since it was for a dealer sponsored club.

The outfit would likely be Brew City. George does all the collared Buell shirts and does a fabulous job.

Holubeck. . . . Vern Holubeck. His son, the one that used to be on the Comedy Channel, lives here in NYC.

Vern Holubeck was an interesting guy.

The shirts were likely done by Stratman and, of course, Vern got his cut.

Vern was to shirts was Trev Deeley was to Canada.

Crusty's the winner!
I haven't seen a Holubeck t-shirt in YEARS. They used to have a cool sale once a year where they had HD T-shirt rejects. $2 a T-shirt. I came home, every year with about 20 shirts : )

MEA CULPA:

I posted previously that the new Buell logo was not copyrighted. That information was wrong, it is. No one, myself included, has any right to copy or reproduce it.

Accordingly I have removed the portion of my post related to that.

I will wait patiently unitl I can go to an authorized Buell dealer and purchase a patch of the new logo.

Tell that to Thomas, I heard the crunching from 3 rows back. You almost saw me visit the dude on the iPhone who was just in front of you.

Thanks the offer is kind. My "urgent need" was that I wanted to have it put on my Aerostich that's being repaired. I wanted to have it for a couple upcoming "hi-viz" events.

No big deal. I'll survive without it. Thanks for the kind offer. I'll buy one from my Authorized Buell Dealer when they become available.

Thanks again for the kind offer.

Went to Gateway HD/Buell today and the Summer 09 accessory's catalog is out new gloves and a new Cordura jacket. The gloves are ugly as sin and the jacket looks really cool.
