I tried to google a review on these helmets and the only ones I found just talk about how cool it is... Anybody know anything about them? Other than they "are cool" | ||

I have had the Akuma Spectre for over a year. I'll give you my review if it helps... Fit/Function: Outstanding! Make sure you follow their sizing guide, the helmet is comfy and everything works well and is durable. The innovative LED functions are THE BEST part about the system. I have been tailed by people because they want to get the helmet because the red LEDs are so visable in the rear. Wind Noise: Not so good, part of this is due to the fact that I need new cheek pads from wearing it so much. But it is a tad windy. Not the worst I have worn though. Vision: Field of View is great, and the two visors snap in and out easily. Finish: I bought the black matte Spectre, the paint hasn't a scratch on it and looks great! Impact Resistance: Not tested...thank god.  Hope this helps! I haven't got one with the photo-chromic visor shifty thingy...but I want it. | ||

That does help, thank you. If you look on their website they have a new shield that's LCD and tints at the touch of a button! | ||
