Been a Buell owner since 2000. Along the way, I have met the coolest, most helpful people in the world. Have learned invaluable tips, tricks and even history. The Badweb and Buell community is simply amazing.Where else in the world would you find someone on the other side of the country that would GIVE and ship-at HIS own cost-parts you need?
Why am I writing this soft, sticky sweet post?(not really a sweet type 'o guy LoL)
Mainly to thank EVERYONE who has helped ANYONE here.
Member "Dragonwing" just proved to me once again, what a great "Bueller" is made of.

Now go f@#$ yourselves,ya buncha bastids!

Yep Buell (Erik) started a family that is growing all the time. Pretty special isn't it?
I feel the same more and more. Thanks Erik!

Why would anybody go out of their way to help someone; just because they own the same brand of motorcycle?
Next thing you know, they'll be coming up with Rider Assistance Networks, Pay it Forward forums and people doing rallys in order to meet and associate with other like minded wackos.
Where will it all end?

"Being a Bueller":

Owning and riding motorsicles that respond to the mind's inputs better than any other, spanking ricers all the way down any wicked, twisty road.

I just figure if somebody does me a solid, I wanna give kudos. If someone is an a$$/0 , I will deal with it in private. With the HUGE amount of bickering, arguing and keyboard genius'-coupled with the internet tough guys, its nice to see the positive things that happen here.

Couldn't agree more! I was going to make a similar thread. but didn't want to be a pansy. Cheers to Bott for not worrying about that!! (kidding Bro!)

I am about to become a first time Buell owner. I went by Precision HD in Pawtucket RI to check out a XB12Ss I really want to get my hands on. It's a Long story but I have saved up the cash, got the green light from my misses but can't process the transaction with out a tonne of paperwork hassles etc...(out of state residence, out of country drivers licence...) I have a complicated solution I can use but it will take some time and I am just going to wait till the new models come out in a few weeks time before making the decision on which Buell to make my own.

Anyhow, Tripp, a guy who works at the place is there, on his day off, doing some work on his bike I think, He hears that there is a Buell guy in the place, comes out and spends a half hour of his time, giving me info on the bike, answering questions, telling me about his bike, rides he is involved in and inviting me to come out for one, He introduces me to some people who might be able to help me sort out my red tape issues, and is generally just a cool fella.

Now he is not in sales or anything, He does all this because he passionate about Buells and wanted to be helpful to another Buell rider, even when I explained this is going to be my first one, he was still helpful and cool.

I think there is something about the ideology behind Buell that draws standup people to the bike. It is the sort of community/camarderie that HD used to have. These bikes are different... Now that is that is a culture of biking I can get behind, And here is to that!!!!

this is a great site with a great vibe, right on for making it that way
