Some may have seen this video but I think it's well done, especially for a first effort. It inspired me to go for a ride.

Someday....I WILL own a Reactor Yellow S1 with a solo (thong) seat, polished PM wheels, gray frame. I'm not asking for much am I? : )

If it's a White Lightning version, that would be a plus, I'm not sure what year(s)they made the Reactor Yellow. Anyone know? Well I know that Court knows...

I saw a gal from WV on one at a Ducati dealership, OOOOO BABYYYYYY! She wasn't afraid of it either! Let's just say she complimented the Buell REAL NICE!

There was no reactor yellow S1W, only body colors were white, billet (silver), molten orange and black. Only frame colors were white, black, billet or nuke blue. There's a thread in old school about it...

In the immortal words of Ferris Bueller, though - "if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up".

They made a yellow S1 in '96 when the only frame you could get was gray.

See, I knew someone would know... including Court.

I checked the KV, that's where I got the Reactor Yellow name from as the High Voltage Yellow isn't listed as a paint code.

I'll need to break out Court & Dave's book when I get home, but was there a White Lightning version available in '96? or did it come out later?

Does anybody have a paint code for the High Voltage paint, just in case I can't find one?

I have a 96 HVY S1 in the garage. Don't know if I would ever sell it though. I have owned it for 10 years. The paint is pretty faded. I did pick up a spare fender, windscreen and tail just incase I ever need to patch up damage without repainting.

The S1W didn't come out until later.

If you dig around this site, there are instructions on how to paint HVY.

Easy.

The S1WL was a 1998 intro.
