It was pissing fork oil, so it needs replacement in my book. Isn't it illegal to replace with stock parts? That sucks, I guess I need a 09 SS black forks with the STT springs, magnesium wheel, and 1125CR mirrors now. Oh, and my Micron is nicked, so that must be replaced by a Ti-force! : )

Hooray for frame pucks and sliders!

She faired far, far better than I imagined she would.

She looks ridable after a new front end.

That or wheelie it every where : )

I recommend a 6 week regiment of the nicotine patch for the smoker in these photos.

Week 1 and 2, 21 mg.
Week 3 and 4, 14 mg.
Week 5 and 6, 7 mg.

When you start missing your patch, you'll know how insidious addiction really is.

Take it from one who knows and cares.

That was the tow truck driver, I didn't get his name, nice guy. I was thrilled when I saw it was on a dolly, my fear at the hospital was that Cletus used some rope and dragged her away.

Oh, and I was 30k miles overdue on the fork oil change : D

Fatty's old bike would like the headlight guard back if you go with a CR fairing. Hey, ever think of going with a color that isn't blue?

Methed, I will buy you a new grill with the insurance dough. The current one has sentimental value and is one of a kind with its character. : )

CR fairing? Hmm... Gears in my head are turning....

I got spares/originals of everything short of a wheel and forks, so downtime should be minimal.

Yeah, that Micron is ruined.
I'd be willing to buy it off of you though, just to help you out.

Glad you're ok.
At least you'll have your new Thumper to ride around on while the you repair Ol' Blue.

See if you can keep the bone chunk as a souvenir.

It might make a good necklace : )

I hate surgery. I hope it goes smoothly and you recover quickly.
You've got a month to heal and fix your bike so that you can make it to the races at Lebanon Speedway.

I am starving, I can't eat till after the surgery.

Just gonna touch on some old comments quick:

quote:

QUestion to all: Why is the collarbone so often broken in crashes?

Might have something to do with trying to tackle a car : D

quote:

Damn, you fingers look like they are a yard long.

You know what they say about big hands.... You have a hard time finding gloves that fit!

quote:

Have they doped you up enough to post hilariously?

Actually they didn't. They gave me a little morphine somewhere in beteen my MRI and Xray. I initially refused it but then got talked into it by my mother. It did help a bit. They routinely asked how my pain was over the next few days, and it was nothing worth mentioning so they never gave me anything else. I still haven't even filled the prescriptions yet.

quote:

Jeez Frogs, just cause your tryin to beat my post count it doesn't mean you have to match my crash count either!!

Only difference is I get my bikes fixed after the wrecks : D

Aeholton, my recorder broke a few weeks ago and I never got around to trying to getting it fixed. I was looking at getting a different setup. : (

Well....how did it go? Does it hurt more after they took the bone out? Sometimes those doctors can rough you up more than the wreck itself. If so, send me the name of the doctor, I may or may not have some "friends" that can teach him some manners.

I have fixed my bike after many a wreck, but now I need to get the case welded and I just have to send it off.

So suck it!

Nut, you are right. After whatever they had me on at the hospital wore off, it has been making me want to amputate my arm. My Dr is good, but unfortunately he sees me often enough that when I went in last week for a checkup, the first thing he said was "what did you crash into now?"

Spidey, what will come first? March Badness 10 or MJ being ridable again? : )
