I'm lucky enough to live in Tennessee!!!!!!

So that simply means that damn near all of them are great roads....

But I am willing to Volunteer a few of them to you if you care to follow me sometime.

In Oregon well, it's a secret so I won't tell you.
But;
hwy 395 from John Day to Pilot Rock (Battle Mountain) is a nice teaser. South to north is the most fun direction.

Come and ride West Virginia
Rt 50 from Winchester, VA to Grafton, WV.
Rt 33 from Harrisonburg, VA to Elkins, WV
Rt 39 from Warm Springs, VA to Gaulley Bridge, WV then pickup Rt 60 east back towards White Sulphur Springs, WV
Rt 219 all the way through the state.
Rt 20 from Buchannon going south
Rt 16 to whereever it goes.
Rt 32 from Canaan Valley State Park south then right on Rt 72 to Hambelton and Hendricks then right onto Rt 219 up to Thomas and Davis back to Canaan Valley State Park.

There aren't any states here. This is the best one close to town.

+ 1 Ed Stevens.

I don't know if I'd call them the very best roads but we took two extended trips to WV in 2007. We rode every road you had listed. Awesome stuff and would rival the best roads out there. Don't forget there's a lot of great riding on the 9 foots too. Back Mountain Road comes to mind.

My personal fav is Rt 141 in Colorado from Grand Junction to Dove Creek.

Here's twistiest portion of my favorite route. Continue east to 395 and then back through Yosemite to head for home

Thanks to everyone for all the great feedback. I'd really like to find at least one great road in each state. It's obvious that some states are more gifted than others and will require more attention! ; )

Keep them coming! I'm taking notes!

LOL, you hardly have time to ride the roads in YOUR state! Let alone go to other states and ride.
You crack me up, CJ!
Are you going to try to make Ridefest this year? It's Sept 11, 12, and 13th. you know the route...
Ride out on the 11th, ride the loop on the 12th, and head home on the 13th...

ST RD 45 in Brown County Indiana, Runs from Bean Blossom to Bloomington, Aprox 20-25 miles of long sweepers, tight right and lefts and multiple elevation changes, also pretty scenery if your not concentrating on looking through the next corner!

Bart, I can't. I'll be in Hawaii that week. Sept 10-20.

Are you going to be at the Southwest Regional Buell Rally? August 21, 22, 23 in Pagosa Springs, CO.

I lived in North Cove.
I learned to ride in those hills.
I tried to capture as big an area as possible, and still be able to see some good detail.

How do you feel about Bigdaddy?
He still lives up there.
One of Bigdaddy's favorite loops is the Little Switzerland loop ; )
I have two pics so you know where the road is, and the second so you can see the elevation changes.

One of my favorite runs is the Buck Creek run, it starts at Lake Tahoma.
The green dock to the left is where I did a lot of my growing up.
I really miss it there.
Back in the day, that gazebo out in the lake there, was a hoppin' place.

Here's part of the Buck Creek run.

There are so many more in that area, so many more.
If I showed y'all any more I'd be in fear for my life!

I've done 191. It was tough to enjoy it at the time. Anyone who was on the Torque-fest might recall why. Maybe I'll try to get back out there this spring.

Jonzin,
we're doing 191 in both directions in Sept, on the 12th. You should try to hook up.
