>>>looking for ideas for a nice place this weekend

Tavern on the Green is great on the weekends or there are a couple favorites in SoHo.

We've got 18,000+ to choose from, let me know if you need more ideas.

WHITE CASTLE!

No, just kidding- actually, I made a recommendation just a minute ago on the Beemer thread.

FWIW, I do love me some White Castle sliders.

I work at a great restaurant, but you'd have to travel to Knoxville. Puleo's Grill.

Good grub. Stop in when youn's are passin thru. I work dinner shifts.

I've gotta go with either Duffy's (best burger in Staten Island) or a spectacular place I ate last week in Pleasant Valley, NY.

Also, if you are around Rhinebeck, NY you'll be in luck . . . I can highly recommend the CIA.

I'd go along with that and add . . . if you eat breakfast at Tom and Joe's there is no need for lunch or dinner.

Food is off the charts good.

The 1763 Inn used to be nice, but sadly has been sold & changed since last I was there. A living piece of history, as it was originally owned by George Washington.

May have to see about getting back there to try out the new Irish menu.

Ray's Grille, Barnam Ave. Stratford, Connecticut.
Every Saturday, sliced, fresh cooked roast beef or pork, onion gravy, cheese, piled high on a toasted bakery bun, OMG. Add a frosty Sam Adams (or your favorite malted beverage) and loosen your belt because nobody can eat just one.
