Barker took pity on me and allowed me to borrow one of this bikes for a wonderful Sunday afternoon ride with him. I didn't realize how much I needed the ride. I had forgotten the magnificent state whereby your body can focus on the next turn, the next corner, the next hairpin while your mind goes "elsewhere".

It rained it's butt off, and the weight of my leathers doubled as they became completely water logged, but it didn't matter.

Thank you Mr. Barker for hangin' with me today. I can't express to you how much I needed this.

I would like to add my own thanks to Mr.B for the GP tix. I have watched races many times on TV but had no idea how FAST those boys are!

thanx for the kind words.

Fatty,
I only wish it were dry. It was still good fun even if tough we were soaked and had to push start the firebolt @ every stop.

Those are the things that make one ride more memorable than another.

That and freezing your butt off eating dinner because you are soaked to the bone.

Class, Mr Barker.

When I wrote off the M2 a couple of years back , had no bike & wasn't even sure I had "it" anymore a friend lent me one of his bikes & went out riding with me, a good mate.

Badweb folks are incredibly generous with their bikes, I've had loans from a number of people when I've been in the US & Canada, you all know who you are & I thank you again for your generosity.
