From Rasmussen's website today: "The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 31% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-three percent (33%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2. That matches the lowest level yet recorded."

I think we can expect this number to grow and the "spend and tax" model becomes more and more apparant.

I do have a grasp of statistical method but I wish somebody would actually poll me one day. (get your mind out of the gutter!) I don't recall EVER being polled by a national polling group. Always makes me question the demographics used by these guys.

Now you understand the reason for the "pass then read" methodology of congress and the drive for speedy implementation of the policies.

If the ACTUAL components of the plan were revealed and digested by the public, the jig would be up.

How long has it been since a large portion of the public ever read and digested any legislation? Sound bite popularity has been the standard for as long as I can remember. Remember "No new taxes Bush?" Doesn't make it right but that is how it's done. Besides that the only approval rating that really counts is 3.5 years from now.
