I just closed on my first garage today! I consider myself VERY blessed to have the ability to own a home at 22 years old. Or in all reality, live in one that the bank owns : p

Anyway she was built in 1973. 2 car garage w/ attached 1450 sqft 3 bedroom 2 bath house.

The kitchen was remodeled in 2005, and a new roof was put on last summer.

I promise, I don't live like a slob! So excuse the mess, I just couldn't wait to show it off until I get things cleaned up.

I really need to get my name on the mailbox now : )

No idea what this room is going to be, but I don't have enough furniture to fill it anyway right now lol

A shot looking from the empty room to the living room.
Go Broncos.

The kitchen definitely doesn't look like it belongs in this house. It's not 70's enough.

Here's the security system..

workspace!
Sandra's going to donate a motor to my '97 S3 project.

Betty's got plenty of space in here : )

See, even Sandra is clad in Broncos colors.

Buell is not only represented in the garage - but in the living room as well! You're right - I'm single.

The living room was an addition, and it doesn't have any lighting from the ceiling which kinda disappoints me, but the lamps in the corner do alright.

52" old school sony tv, and 5.1 Bose surround. If the tv was a little bigger I'd never need to go to the theater!

Here's the common bathroom. Remember I'm not this messy, just mid-move.

One of the bedrooms. I really like the color in here.

A second bedroom. Yes that's an S3, and again - being single allows me to do stupid things like keep it inside : )

The master bedroom.

master closet..

.. and master bathroom. There's a shower to the left of the sink.

Parts of the house really look 36 years old when it comes to style, but that's alright. At least there's no shag carpet.

yeah the previous owner told me he would leave the push mower. definitely not the case.

I need to get one soon though before the dogs get lost in the jungle of a back yard.

Phillip, nice house, I love the brick houses. The garage is always the first thing I look at LOL.

Welcome to homeownership!

Maxims go on the coffee table not the toilet. Get some 1/8" aluminum diamond plate sheet to put the bike on in the house. Use some roundUp on the concrete weeds. Nice house, enjoy and congrats.

You're right about rent being cheaper - the interest portion of my payment is more than I was paying in rent, but if I find just one roommate I'll be spending less each month and actually be keeping the equity instead of throwing $$$ away.

I don't subscribe to Maxim, just bought the issue with Megan Fox after Transformers came out in '07.

Round up, mulch, and lawn care tools are on the shopping list for tomorrow, and every freakin door in the house has about a 6" step up going inside so I don't think a complete bike is gonna make it all the way indoors. The best I can do is get tires off the ground in the garage come winter.
