Anyone else go see it yet? I was disappointed that there was not a Buell in it but there was a Buell sticker in it. The box that the RC gets put into has a Buell oval on it. Decent movie for what is essentially just supposed to be a summer blockbuster. My guess is it will break the record for a 5 day open. Light on plot or deep characters but heavy on explosions, robot fighting, cool machinery and effects and most importantly lots of slo-mo Megan Fox  . Amazing what computers can do and how much smoother this movie was then the first one. What did you think if you saw it? | ||

Saw it last night on IMAX. I enjoyed the movie but there were LOTS of holes in the storyline. Bunch of stuff didn't make any sense whatsoever. Overall I give it a thumb down. Could have been a great movie if they only had it make sense. Megan Fox looked incredible. | ||

Well part of the "issue" I had with the second one was the cool factor of the Transformation was kinda gone. This movie they transformed much quicker when they had to and much more fluid like. It is NOT Oscar quality, besides special effects maybe, but neither was the first one. If you enjoyed the first chances are you will enjoy the second. Some of the critics reviews I read almost convinced me to wait to see it but the kid in me HAD to see it asap. The movie is 2.5hrs long and it almost seemed too short as Damnut said there were gaps in the storyline that probably should not have hit the cutting room floor. Unless of course they made way for more Megan Fox. If you look at it as a blockbuster movie and take it as such it was ok. Puts you in a bit of awe and you forget about the rest of the crap in the world for those few hours. Although they did name drop Obama and I wouldn't have been surprised if he would have had a cameo. The movie had some funny parts but not thinking man/womans humor. I thought it was fun, the wife thought the first one was better but liked the more robots, 11 yr old son thought it was the best movie he has ever seen. The first one was better. I did enjoy it and there were a bunch of funny moments in the flick. Tell me...... What 20 year old kid wouldn't want to bring a brand new Camaro to college??? When did a Transformer have to ability to have human skin??? That Transformer chick was waaaaaay hot though. | ||

It was effing awesome. Loads of GM cars, loads of explosions, and loads of everything except a plot! Either way I don't care it was awesome. Quite a bit did get cut, I saw like 90% of the movie while it was in production from various videos online and noticed some stuff missing. The only part that bugged me was all the GM cars in it are either concepts or discontinued! | ||

The no brand new Camaro at school thing really was like what??? I told my wife that right after the movie. "They can't become humans! But she was hot!" She agreed and even with her limited rememberance from brothers watching the cartoon knew they can only become machines. Bring on #3... | ||

Overall I give it a thumb down. Could have been a great movie if they only had it make sense. Megan Fox looked incredible. Damnut, you can't have it both ways! The shot of her butt in the previews is enough for a thumbs up from me! | ||

Great flick. I loved the twins. Arcee(s) was crap. I hated being reminded of Shia LaBeouf's DUI. During the shooting of the flick, He got drunk, ran a red light hit another rolled the car w/ the fembot riding with him. In the movie, all of sudden his hand is bandaged???????? | ||

BTW- my daughter heard Megan Fox is going to play Lara Croft in the next Tomb Raider movie. Angelina Jolie is all pissy about it. | ||

Thought it was a lot better than the first, found the action to be easier to follow than the first, found the action in general to be better than the first, and found no holes in the plot. Plus, it was less corny than the first. Basically everything opposite of the reviews. I seriously left the theater as impressed as I did after Star Trek. ..wow.. I have no idea what anyone was thinking when they complained about this movie.. it was perfect. basically 2.5 hours of non-stop action but there's still a story line that is well told, and relies on the first movie to explain what's going on in the second and why. I was surprised to see the romantic side of the story between sam and mikaela (sp?) so much, but it didn't get too mushy or detract from all of the action. AMAZING special effects - seamless combination of CG autobots bulldozing their way through natural looking forests, skyscrapers, etc. I'll def be getting this one on DVD. might even go back to see it in theaters a couple more times. | ||

Saw it in IMAX. Too much going on too fast. I wish I'd seen in on a regular screen. I'd see it again except that I don't want to validate that pile of stoopid stoopid un-needed sexual humor [in a kids flick of all things] with any more of my dollars. | ||

Umm you could tell it wasn't a kids movie just by the rating. PG13 with "intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, language, some crude and sexual material, and brief drug material." | ||

Saw it today. Pretty.....pretty.....ah.....pretty.....what the.....kinda reminded me of a slow motion run on a beach in "Ten"(thankfully repeated several times). But that aside, I saw some "Star Wars" theme running in there and maybe a little bit of "The Fifth Element" floating in space. I thought the mom's character was funny as all get out. The sound in a new big bucks theater was great. It is helping me like the new Camaro. Isabel, Megan, beautiful stuff right there!  |
