It's on my ESPN now. I think they are interesting machines. What concerns me is how they resolve drawn contests. |

Definitely impressive machines. I lived in Ohio for a couple of years where the National Tractor Pull Association is headquartered. Living there was my first exposure to the sport. "Tractors" with 4 or 6 blown Chrysler Hemis, Allison V-12 aircraft engines, etc. were cool, but what really blew me away were the modded diesel farm tractors. A typical setup for one of these runs three turbochargers in SERIES and boost pressures of over 100 PSI (!!!). The aftermarket even makes overhead cam conversions for some engines. These things are by far the most astounding internal combustion powered vehicles I have ever witnessed. Cool stuff. |
