I see Reg is still staying in the loop.
I'm looking forward to his take on the 2010 bikes.

That was done by Kevin Duke, he was riding one of the James Gang Racing XB12Rs with Troy Siahaan from Sport Rider at the Road America AMA round in Moto GT2. I was assigned to their pit crew, and they are both great guys to work with. Very Cool!

what kinda frame is that on the ground with the forks/wheel.

It does not look XB or 1125 to me.

Some sort of in-line fission engine and actuator legs.

The ground clamps are way over-engineered for mine. Unsprung mass.

Thats what I was figuring too.

Being able see from that angle, one can get a real good look at the dual ancillary proton flangers, a dead give-away.

"what kinda frame is that on the ground with the forks/wheel."

Sorry to kill any UBO theories here but the frame on the deck is the same as the one on the stand. Just closer to the lens.

The article said the frame laying down was undergoing a frame flex test.

I thought they were just demonstrating the new lower lean angle....

"the front wheel on the prone bike looks suspiciously W I D E"

And the fork travel on the upright frame is extremely limited.

So far I've seen this article, and the one from Gabe Ets-Hokin. Anybody know who else was there from the press?

Judging from the photo with Reg Kittrelle, I think this is also the same event Rider magazine was attending during Road America...
