It's 85 plus today, I busted my buns mowing the lawn, cutting down a tree and a lilac buch (big mofo...), hauling all the remains to the yard waste joint, helping a neighbor pull a knarly shrub stump, attenting a graduation dealio for a nephew (no friggin beer!!!).
I get home and hear serious tunes from a block away. Another grad party.. with live band! R&B, Blues and Blues Rock.
Lead player is HOT!! So is the rest of the band...
Mix up a SERIOUS Tanguray and Tonic with extra lime. Mosey over to the neighbors (much better listening post) kick back and enjoy!
Life is good folks, life is good..

Brad

This thread is making me thirsty! I can't have a drink for 9months, damn Kuwait!

I could really go for a slightly chilled Guiness!

Vince, You're killing me with that Leinie's ad. The only kind I can get out here in Cali is the Sunset Wheat. I loves me some Sunset Wheat, don't get me wrong. But I've got find a way to try some of that.

And Dana, as if the Leinie's wasn't bad enough, you show me a tasty bottle of New Glarus?!? I have SERIOUSLY got to get back to America's Dairyland. It has been way too long!!!

The thing about New Glarus is that its one product Spotted Cow out sell's Lienies and all their products put together by itself and they have other beers also. That company has grown leap's and bounds.

Stevasaurus,

If you like wheat beer, have you tried Chimay Grande Reserve?

FANTASTIC beer!

The Red label is good as well.

If New Glarus is selling that well, I really wish they would open up their distribution radius. Whenever I am back home, I drink New Glarus, Sprecher, and Lenie's almost exclusively because I can't get them out on the left coast. Heck, I haven't even had a new old Schlitz yet. I found a place that sells it on Melrose Ave. in L. A., but they can't keep it in stock!

Jeremy, I just checked the inventory at the Beverages and More in town. They've got the Chimay Blue in stock. Guess who's heading over to pick some up?

And since I'm there, I may as well give this Red Stag a taste too. I'd never thought of a Beam 'n' Cherry Coke before, let alone a Cherry Beam 'n' Coke. Now, off to the store!

Steve,

Let me know what you thought of the Red Stag ?? I purchased 3 1 liter bottles just to try it at The Boiler Room this past Monday. I got the delivery next day. It went in our system and it was gone by Wednesday. I found that over 1/2 were asking for it to return. Sooooo I'm ordering a case tomorrow morning when my sales rep comes in. Also try it on the rocks and let it sit for 10 min. Let the ice melt a bit and it really makes it good.

New Glarus Hearty Hops IPA is my favorite, but High Life does just fine, as it is tonight.
I am building my first bicycle from the frame up, so I bought a 22oz Fat Tire for when I finish. My aunt & uncle live in Ft Collins, and they always bring a 12 pack when they visit.
As you can see, Fat Tire is new here, as the label says "Now legally cruising into America's Dairyland".

My pancreas hates you all for letting my eyeballs see all those tasty beverages...I'm stuck with good old fashioned unadulterated sweet tea...
