Flyers fan here, I mostly dislike the pens but not as much as the redwings, "talented goal tending bastards" is what they are. I am soooo glad the Pens won. (they deserve it) |

So who has Spiderman's address so we could send a box of Kleenex? j/k Great series, I figured it would go 7 games, but with the way the Redwings beat the Penguins last year, I wasn't so sure. |

Tell me Marion Hossa doesn't feel like major tool after running to Detroit from Pitt because detroit had a better chance to win a cup sooner. Oooops. |

Watched game at home with my family last nite. Last few min looked around room & everybody was only using front edge of there seats. Great game. Respect for both teams. Yes Hossa is a Douche Canoe. I have not been a big hocky fan but these playoffs were great entertainment. Superbowl & Stanley Cup the same year. WOW |

Something about hockey in the month of June just doesn't click.... But I used to be a Caps fan, back when Rod Langway was still playing and they were at the Capital Centre. |

Only 375k... tsk tsk pens 'fans' http://www.freep.com/article/20080607/SPORTS05/806 070385/ "The team estimated 1.4 million fans came downtown for the event, while the Detroit Police Department simply sized up the crowd at more than a million." (and ours was on a weekday) |

Yeah and? Are you including the suburbs, state, out of state? All the people that came to the Detroit Parade didn't all live in Detroit... But from all your other posting I know you are a kermudgined old man with a penchant for politics and arguing so I'll let you win oh great master of Pa area! LOL Oh yeah I do find it funny that the Pens almost went bankrupt till good ol Mario stepped in. Even in the 'Dead Wing' days we never faced that... |

A vacationing penguin is driving through Arizona when he notices that the oil-pressure light is on. He gets out to look and sees oil dripping out of the motor. He drives to the nearest town and stops at the first gas station. After dropping the car off, the penguin goes for a walk around town. He sees an ice-cream shop and, being a penguin in Arizona, decides that something cold would really hit the spot. He gets a big bowl of vanilla ice cream and sits down to eat. Having no hands, he makes a real mess trying to eat with his little flippers. After finishing his ice cream, he goes back to the gas station and asks the mechanic if he’s found the problem. The mechanic looks up and says, “It looks like you blew a seal.” “No, no,” the penguin replies, “it’s just ice cream.“ |
