I stopped off at my local dealer today to take a few parts off my '06 Uly that's been written off as a "total". I talked to the salesman about waiting until after the dealer's meeting in July before making a decision on what to buy as a replacement. His response was that he had heard. due to the large inventory of 2009 bikes, Buell was going to delay the introduction of 2010 models. I don't know, he may just have been wanting me to buy from his inventory. He said he'd make me a smoking deal on either a blue X or a red XT. |

Remember, a salesman will say anything to try and make a sale. (Ok most of them) |

I going to have to call a BS on that. Generally the only info dealers know is what models are being discontinued. I do know that one of the new models they are working on will be a 2011 release. I have not heard anything concrete for 2010. Maybe this is another year of "bold new colors" |

Releasing details and not sending bikes would guarantee steeply discounted current stock. If you knew something really good was coming down the line, wouldn't you want some serious discounts to take what they have? |

Trouble is it's so hard getting the synthetic snakes to breed, & their eggs don't make very good omelettes either. |

I love it when a thread goes in the ditch with humor to boot. Double joy in this one though. We got to pick on Ft B in the process! No worries about the Synthetic snakes and their eggs. They're carbon fiber. Just ask Al L. He showed use the prototype at the last SCAB meeting. |

due to the large inventory of 2009 bikes, Buell was going to delay the introduction of 2010 models That wouldnt surprise me that this type of business decision could be made in these difficult financial times. Maybe bring the release time closer to the actual year its claimed to be. |

Organic snake oil does wonders for your muffler bearings but I would keep it away from your motor. By the way, anyone know of a good replacement blinker fluid? |

It's the only blinker fluid I'll use. You can find it, and many more items you're looking for here. http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=index |

We can't get blinker fluid here as it doen't meet EU certification specs. In an emergency we use Organic weaselpiss, or just stick a hand out. |

"Buell was going to delay the introduction of 2010 models." On the opposite end of the spectrum, I heard HD is going to release some CVO models early. |

Issue with Ft becoming a politico, he would have to get a lobotmy, and have his integrity removed too. On the other hand sending him to the hill might be entertaining, I bet we get BOLD new colors, or a "bargan" model xb |

Buell is delaying the production of the Domestic 2010MY 1125 models or "Loki" platform for the purists until September of 2009. They are currently in production with the international 2010MY 1125 models. This was communicated to the dealers by Buell quite some time ago. (Message edited by bikejunky on June 15, 2009) |
