the left side exhaust, and telelever front fork are both interesting. the left side primary, with right side final is a definite step up from the normally screwed up big twin variant. the long legged unit with the goofy riding boots would look real funny wedged between the back of the saddle and the rear fender... oops. | |||

They do. The difference is you can buy one from a dealer. Who else has Oil in the swingarm, gas in the frame and perimeter brakes on a production bike? | |||

Interesting in a very odd sort of way but ugly and I can't imagine that it really works all that well. Not doubt it will be fast as it will be light but I rather doubt it will run with a real sport bike in the twisties. Gotta give them credti for different but the designer sounds way too much like the art school losers I used to have to listen to at work. | |||

According to the CW article this bike will be produced for sale looking very much like the photo. First 13 will be XR1000 based motors and cost $60K then the next batch will be Sporty based motors and run $40K. A sideline to the article on this bike is some interesting observations about motorcycle style from Craig Vetter who thinks the Wraith is indeed interesting but is very curious as to how it will look when it has to be fitted with lights, blinkers and a license plate frame as these are typically things that are hard to place and have look good. | |||

You guys are nuts! The bike is awesome-looking and the "marketing representative" is gorgeous (see http://www.fastdates.com/MeetModels/12AndraCobb/AndraCobb01.HTM for more "info"  ). I've always likes Confederate's designs, though I could have a stable full of Buells for the same money (and would rather). At least its "different in every sense"! The bike is absolutely "diferent". Some of the design characteristics are beautiful, and some of them are, well..... I just don't think I could get past those forks. It is a good start, I'll be interested to see the final production model. Now the Hellcat on the other hand. My ABSOLUTE dream bike. | |||

Top end is XR but lower end seems S&S. Why would they choose 4-speed? Other than that I think is cool although a bit thick. | |||

I like some of the things about it like the supposed lightness and simplicity,i wonder if the belt drive primary reduces spin-up weight and maybe even benifits shifting due to less or better controlled slack compared to chain?.From the side the bike looks like a crawling inchworm though.But to me the XBS looks like a grasshopper,the R a beluga.They all look odd to me  in there own way i guess, except the S1 or the Duc 916-996. |
