As soon as my butt hit the saddle I knew I was a goner...I just had to have it. So now I have a Buell XB12Stt AND a Kawasaki KLR-650! Guess that's ONE way to stop the fan running on a Buell all the time!  The 650 is red and I pick it up in a couple of hours. IT has Buell disease... wiring has a recall....along with bad muffler bearing (or was that bolts?)  In other words My Buell was good to go and The Kawasaki has warranty recalls BEFORE I even get it out the door! Motorcycles are like Potato chips...can't have just one! Should be a nice little putter bike we'll see. | ||

YES SIR!! MR DAVIDSON!! SIR!! I'll get some in the morning as it's a bit dark here now. There are a few problems with the bike though here's a list. #1 Someone put gas in the air box. #2 I can't find the oil filler on the swingarm ANYWHERE! #3 Both headlight are on at the same time?!? #4 Some Ding-Bat moved the muffler way up to just under the seat and all the way back...WHY? It's fun but dead slow and it'll take a bit to get use to. It does have good brakes, I'd been told they were really poor guess it was the older KLRs. NO fan noise! LOL BUT it's a LONG way down Baby from THAT seat! I'm on Tippy Toes when I try and get both down so it's back to slide over and plant one foot good and lean into it! On after my ride and finding out HOW slow (next to my Buell anyway) I've name it "The Red Menace" BUT it looks like it'll go just about anywhere I'd care to ride it. Birdy | ||

I would love to see some non Kawi ad pics of the 650. Congrats on the Kawi. The KLR 650 is a great bike. It may not be liter bike fast or Buell nimble but it gets the job done with no complaints. And the air box holds a lot of gas for a nice long range  |
