yeah it was weird. and if you are spending so much time and money making the thing visible why not switch the two wires for the dual headlight mod? | ||

FWIW..I don't think two headlights are required. Seriously. The Uly is going up front, and from what I was told there by the guys running the show was that they are using the the next few weeks to get some good feedback from the riders and to help create a set of standards to base the "pace team" off with. So that when it DOES debut, there's no issues like they had with the pace cars. As far as the head light goes... You don't need anymore lights on that thing, it's lit up like a frellin Xmas Tree, AND the riders BEHIND the lead bike hopefully won't need to see the front of the Pace bike unless there are severe issues and a red flag goes out and the race has to pause or what not and everyone restarts, even then, you still don't need two head lights with all that jazz going on around the Uly. After seeing them in person at RA and talking with the pace team crew they have a very straight forward plan on integrating the new pace bikes and I am more than happy to see them out and running! | ||

yes it was shot with a hi-speed camera it does not record sound. It was shot @ 60fps and played back @ 24fps. | ||

That cam maxes out @ 60fps @ 720p. My new cam that should be here any day does 120fps @ 1080p! | ||

We'll find out . . . . I didn't even know about the LIN3 till I read your post. I just ordered one and will see how it compares. Looks the same. Just different output? If so I can let the fellow building the bikes know. | ||

What can you tell me about the LINZ6? I haven't mounted mine yet and am up for some comparing . . . I figure as long as I am tossing myself to the NYPD as bait I might as well do the best I can.  | ||

Scott - good point. Heck, maybe since the National Guard is a sponsor, we can let them put an M1A1 Abrams in front of the pack, behind the "pace car" behind the "pace bike." | ||
