I wasn't there at the time. I didn't witness it. But that anonymous rider seems to be smiling enough. That parking lot looks kinda familiar...

It's just that sort of irresposible holigan type of behavior and total dis-respect for tyre and machine that makes me wont to write a letter.

Way to go mate.

I'm hoping the Big Kid doesn't see this! I wouldn't be able to take him anywhere after that.

No wonder I like him!
Nothing like a little "smoke show" to make you feel good.

Ride to the edge!

Erik personally does a burnout on every Buell before it's shipped. Maybe not true..., but I know I would.

Forget the burnout... check out the motorcycle online video of the (white S1?) being ripped down the mountian road. Especially the second pass.

I would not have thought it possible... Wonder what that rider could do on an XB9.

Reep...That's "Dead Man's Curve" on So Cal's Ortega Hwy (Hwy 74).

On the second pass, note the short straight at the end just before the final left turn commences. I totaled out my TR-7 there. Did 2-1/2 loops and rammed into the rock face backwards.

Was very lucky as most went off the cliff on the right. That one turn kept the Saddleback College Wheelchair Basketball team supplied with new talent for many years in the 1980's.

That was my Achilles Heel and every time I bought a new car or bike I had to make that run repeatedly until I felt comfortable with the new toy. Fortunately I only lived about 20 miles west of there in Dana Point, CA and the Ortega was my back year playground for over 25 years.

That's Shawn Higbee on the S1W. That video is from Motorcycle.com. There's several videos of him in the article riding the S1W & a Ducati Monster.

That 'splains it. *He* could probably do that on a vespa.

: ) That boy's a pretty good rider, he ought to go pro ; )
