Same here, I have the two Buells cleaned up in the garage with saddle and tail bags awaiting gear and riders... Thursday morning is lift off. Stupid question... Does Badweb ever have like a "Get together night" or anything? Ya know the ole, "Hello My name is Geforce" tag? Because, short of Erik, Dave and Court and I've seen Henry's face too, I won't know who ANYONE else is. Thanks for the book!!!  | ||

The name tags would be a GREAT idea because folks like Erik, Dave and Court talk to Buell owners all year and yet have never seen their faces . . . . I've had many a conversation with folks only to realize the next day that it was someone I'd been working with for the last two months. Bottom line . . . if you are at Homecoming PLEASE don't hesitate to come up, introduce yourself and "splain the name . . . . . "Froggy" means something to me, I'd have no clue who "Frank" was. | ||

Seems that everybody ends up introducing themselves by their given name... followed by "so-and-so on Badweb" Some of us use our actual names (maybe it's a Steve thing? - Steve Mackay, Steve Slaughter... who knows?) I'm trying to break away for the weekend at RA but for freaking SURE will make the Hal's events on Friday. | ||

So what is the gist here ladies and gents? Do we ask Blake and the Bad Web Gods if we can use the logo to make name tags? I seriously do not mind wearing a little tag that says... "Hello, my name is Geforce" It would really help me and I am sure others to put names to faces and vice versa. Maybe a few of us should bring some generic labels and leave them on a table to write down our names? This day before the trip day sucks. I am worthless at work thinking about the trip! | ||

What "I think" is that if you ask him it is a sign of respect. I also "think" he may consent, "If You Ask". My given name is "R.D." as compared to my web name of "OurDee". It all stands for Rubber Duck  , but I don't go by that. | ||
