Don't forget to mark your calenders.

As you may already know, it is a sin for a Muslim male to see any woman other than his wife naked. He must commit suicide if he does. So next Saturday at 4 PM Eastern Time, all American women are asked to walk out of their house completely naked to help weed out any neighborhood terrorists.

They should Circle the block for one hour. This is Recommended for this anti-terrorist effort to catch any terrorist that are in the can.

All patriotic men are to position themselves in lawn chairs in front of their house to prove they are not Muslims, and to demonstrate they think its okay to see nude women other than their wife, and to show support for all American women.

Since Islam also does not approve of alcohol, a cold 6-pack at your side is further proof of your anti-Muslim sentiment.

The American government appreciates your efforts to root out terrorists and applauds your particpation in this anti-terrorist activity.

God bless America !

I hate to burst anyone's humor bubble, but muslim is not synonymous with terrorist.

There are plenty of domestic terrorist organizations in the US that would classify themselves as Christians. Would you be happy if someone deduced that all American Christians must be terrorists?

I see the humor in your post, but please be aware of the fact that those statements are based on a very ignorant generalization of the muslim faith.

Deuteronomy 4 : 3
“You saw for yourself what the Lord did to you at Baal-peor. There the Lord your God destroyed everyone who had worshiped Baal, the god of Peor.

Deuteronomy 4 : 26
“Today I call on heaven and earth as witnesses against you. If you break my covenant, you will quickly disappear from the land you are crossing the Jordan to occupy. You will live there only a short time; then you will be utterly destroyed.

Joshua 11 : 12
Joshua slaughtered all the other kings and their people, completely destroying them, just as Moses, the servant of the Lord, had commanded.

Judges 20 : 48
And the Israelites returned and slaughtered every living thing in all the towns—the people, the livestock, and everything they found. They also burned down all the towns they came to.

Genesis 6 : 7
And the Lord said, “I will wipe this human race I have created from the face of the earth. Yes, and I will destroy every living thing—all the people, the large animals, the small animals that scurry along the ground, and even the birds of the sky. I am sorry I ever made them.”

The Bible doesn't advocate the death of non-Christians? Are you serious?

It's easy to see the Muslim faith as one that encourages violence, but don't you think the same could be said of our own Christian faith?

Just so you know - I'm a red-blooded Christian American just like the rest of us. I simply like to educate myself about who the enemy actually is, and subsequently avoid persecuting an innocent group of people because of some of their "bad apples".

Hex - you beat me to that one.

Some people who call themselves "christians" are perfectly capable of senseless killings.

God was on the side of that "christian" terrorist too.

PK, nothing you quoted advocates the death of non-Christians. You quoted from the old Testament which is pre-Jesus/Christianity.

Ferris, you're right. Those verses are also taken out of context.

My point isn't that the Bible tells Christians to go out and kill non-Christians. My point is that neither the Christian or Muslim faiths lead believers to this type of killing, however extremist groups within each faith use scripture out of context from the Bible / Qur'an to justify their terrorist acts.

I have a couple of Iranian Muslim friends that are anything but terrorists. In all reality they are more appreciative of this country's freedoms than most people who have never lived outside of the US. It disappoints me to see passionate yet uninformed patriots make such generalized statements about a specific race or religious group.

Does God have a nationality? We act like He is an American. I think we're mistaken.

Did Christ die for terrorists?

Here's one that still blows me away every time I think about the reality of it - Did Christ LOOK like a terrorist? Consider the area of the world that He was born into. I'm thinking that he looked a lot more like Osama Bin Laden, rather than the clean, well kept caucasian depictions we've grown accustomed to see hanging in our places of worship.

This reminds me of the previous "end justifies the means" administration.

http://newsweek.washingtonpost.com/onfaith/panelis ts/susan_brooks_thistlethwaite/2009/05/the_killing _of_george_tiller_a_pro-life_murder.html

"Violence is a logical outcome of the extreme self-righteousness of those who claim the "pro-life" label as an absolute and yet who do not have an actual, consistent ethic of life such as the views held by pacifists. Dr. Charles Kimball, a Baptist minister and professor of religion at Wake Forest University, well explains this logical connection in his book When Religion Becomes Evil. According to Kimball, two warning signs that indicate a religious viewpoint is becoming evil are "absolute truth claims" and "the end justifies any means." Violence, in Kimball's view, is an evil."

"The Bible doesn't advocate the death of non-Christians? Are you serious?"

Most of those quotes talk about things that happened, not that they should have happened. The last quote is God destroying everything he created. That's not a command for Christinas to kill non Christians.

The Koran demands that non Muslims be converted or killed. You can certainly find verses in the Koran that talk about peace and harmony, but the verses written later supersede those written earlier, and those are all about killing the infidels. These are the verses the extremists use to justify the bloodshed.

It is impossible to discuss religion completely on a forum. As C.S. Lewis once wrote, "Christianity is not a childs religion" and trying to discuss it without extensive study is only going to lead to confusion. The simplest version comes from Jesus when He said "Love God with all your heart, mind, and soul, and love your neighbor as your self".
