Just got this memo from Chick's H-D/Buell:

"BUELLS: I'll bet you knew how Erik Buell rides those Buells, so you won't be surprised to know that he rides snowmobiles the same way. On a notorious Harley/Buell snowmobile trip a couple of weeks ago, he broke his pelvis in a few places, but "got great air" just before doing so. Quick recovery, Erik!"

Anybody got any info about this? If true, let's send a "get well" card!

It was mentioned in the general discussion board also. I think a card would be a good idea. Guess we could flood the East Troy post office.

>>>>On a notorious Harley/Buell snowmobile trip

If it's the annual Scott Miller Snowmobile trip that I am thinking of, Erik is not the only "aggressive" rider.....stories are lengenday.

Cards sent to the factory in East Troy will reach Erik.

Buckinfubba,

I don't remember seeing you there..how come you know exactly what happened? But actually, I don't remember much at this point (Hooray for Vicodin).

And if anyone tells you snowmobiles jump just like motocross bikes...it's true. The only difference (and it's a big one) is that you don't have hidden culverts under the snow at motocross tracks!

Get well soon mate, when you run out of Vicodin 2 or 3 bottles of wine (Australian preferably) will ease the pain.

Erik,
The only thing worst than hitting a culvert with a sled is not seeing one hiding in the weeds on a dirt bike.
Ummm, ah, hmm, don't ask how I know.

Heal fast and pain free.

Brad

Oh yeah, thanks for the grins, miles and smiles.

Did the same thing in the winter with a full sized Bronco one year. Bet you didnt know the front bumper of a Ford makes an excellent snow shovel: D

BTW Erik, heal up quickly. My X1 may totally piss me off but you are still a great guy.

Get well soon!

Vicodin-inspired design? ..... could be interesting...front wheel drive Firebolt?

The wife sends her regards . She promises to take her riding proficiency test soon so we can take a trip together and post some really cheesy his and her Buell photos for the next ad campaign... I'm losing weight and she just got a perm...it could happen....
