The rain liner to my Tourmaster Intake Air 2 jacket has riped on the left side. I am in the Reserves and bought the jacket were i was stationed and how i am back home. It is not practical for me to return the jacket to were i bought it. I have sent 3 emails and waited for over 3 weeks to Tourmaster and non have been replied to by a human. Does anyone have contact information for Tourmaster.

The local shops don't carry Tourmaster and it would not be right to have a local shop waist their time trying to deal with the jacket bought somewhere else.

According to the Tourmaster website, that jacket needs to be returned to the dealer and then mailed to Tourmaster for evaluation. The whole return the jacket to the dealer is bull shit! Companies that refuse to embrace modern technology need to die. Why would the jacket have to be mailed back? I can email videos and they can show all the problems with the jacket and can be done in real time.

I don't want to hear crap about protecting the dealers teritory when it fu[ks the customer! EXPECIALY MILITARY! dam we move every 4 years.

I love the gear and it fights correctly. I will gladly buy more Tourmaster gear. I need summer gloves and I have been waiting for the jacket to be fixed. All it needs is a new liner sent, but it is my only jacket and my motorcycle is my semi primary transportation (wifes transmission blew).

Tourmaster is part of Helmet House. Found this info on their site:

Helmet House Inc
26855 Malibu Hills Rd.
Calabasas Hills, CA 91301
Phone 800-421-7247
Fax 866-466-4811

The 800# is listed as Customer Service, so give it a shot if you haven't already.

Hope everything works out for you.

I have that same jacket and also an Alpinestars jacket and I can say that the tourmaster jacket is better.

I don't think I'll buy anything Tourmaster anymore. I had bought an electric jacket the first of April and it didn't work. I tried to contact them twice because I didn't want to go the 200 miles back to where I bought it from. I also thought that it was bogus that I had to pay shipping on a defective product.

I finally got a replacement after 5 weeks and most of the cold riding season was past.

Tourmaster never once replied to an inquiry. I like my Firstgear stuff so I'll stick with that from now on.

I had a similar situation. They were willing to take it back directly after I explained to them that the dealer went belly-up. I think I dealt with a girl name Michelle. I ended up not returning it and cut the belt (faux) off and rode across the country with it working just fine. Just tell them the situation and be willing to wait. I am sure they will make it right. They seemed very interested in finding out the problem so that they could fix it for me and for others potentially. I am sold on the product.

They want me to return the jacket for warranty. The lady that answered was very nice.

So, i guess i get to purchase another jacket to make it through until i get a replacement. I think is going to be anther tourmaster.

Any recommendations for a winter jacket?

I have one of these http://www.compacc.com/p.cfm/c/1001001/p/18107and it worked well here in MN below 40F with a couple of layers underneath.

These look similar http://www.compacc.com/p.cfm/c/9001000/p/15875 but less $$.

as i search, it is getting harder to find a jacket that i want.
The Tourmaster transition jacket looks about what i want.

I am looking for 3/4 length, winter, hi visibility color (yellow), Medium Tall. Large tall would work, but i am afraid they would be too loose with out the liners.
i might have to be flexable on the color.

Are Joe rocket and tourmaster 8" zippers compatible? the Ballistic 7.0 looks nice.
