I'll do you one better. How about organize a trip to Deal's Gap for Buellers? How about play a major roll in the last 5 Homecomings? I get more pissed at the kiss asses here. Funny how he was entitled to his opinion, but others aren't entitled to theirs. I always thought he was rather rude and crass. And when he went on a relentless attack against a teenage boy, that proved to me he was low class and the intelligence that you all seem so impressed with was nothing more than arrogance. I'd rather know what happened to people like DiabloBrian or his brother Mike. People that actually contributed to this forum, rather than bring it down a couple of levels. | ||

I really liked the guy and he is a very accomplished individual. Crass and rude?. . . you bet. I don't see him as a candidate to be a diplomat to the Holy Sea but, love him or hate him, he is a genuinely intelligent guy with some impressive achievements. He walks, while many talk. Part of my enjoyment of the over 4,000 Buell owners I have met in person over the last 23 years is their diversity. My goal is not to be like one of them but like a little bit of all of them. But hey . . .. that's just me and there are as many folks who hate me. I suppose I should worry about it. . . . . I'm gonna take a ride up through the Hudson Valley here in the next week or so and see if I can find him . . . | ||

He's not into it really but may give a small laugh. He will play the devils advocate just to get your mind looking at something in all aspects. Funny thing is he would give the shirt off his back to any of these people that bad mouth him. Not sure the same could be said of them though. Just my .02 | ||

I think what happens is that someone's humor gets misunderstood or what is typical banter among friends can be taken the wrong way by someone else. What I don't like is when an innocent poster is asking what may be a dumb question to many of us is a perfectly resonable question from a newbie. To belittle that person is uncalled for. And as stated before, just because 1 person has an opinion on maintenance, or oil or whatever doesn't mean that it is the gospel for everyone. | ||

Tramp is/was a character, Whether you like him or not is your choice. At times he was entertaining sometimes annoying, I missed the teen bashing thread. He like some of the other pains in the arse's most are gone, he would, I think, put some stuff out to get a reaction and he certainly did that. I remembering challenging him on a couple things and got no response, I don't know what that meant. I am sure Tramp is in the Hudson Valley somewhere enjoying this thread. I know he isn't cleaning his Buell for sure. | ||
