Finally an American car I really like.

I think it is the sound.

The normal CTS-V is currently the worlds fastest production sedan, and that thing is insane : )

It sounds kind of high-pitched and almost tinny.

That would be the supercharger.

I have seriously considered picking up a last generation CTS-V as my next ride. They can be had for reasonable money.

I love a good supercharger whine.
The last generation Mini JCW edition has a magnificent whine.

Froggy, the CTS-V is the fastest sedan tested on the 'ring.
But if we are talking top speed a Bentley Fly Spur will leave it, along with an M5.

Same here. My lowly Chevy Cobalt has surprised a couple BMWs in it's day.

A Rolls Royce is a rich mans car, but a Bentley is a Gentleman's car.

CTS is about the only Caddy made since the 70s that would even consider owning.

But for what I'd have to pay for a CTS-V inc getting it registered etc, I could buy a drool making Bentley Mulsanne Turbo.

Grumps, I think a CTS-V and Mulsanne are two completely different cars. Not even worth comparing.

I'd take the stock CTS-V... 550+ is plenty for a DD luxury car.

go check out the new corvette stingray concept, it is sweet!

thats a car I would own, I couldn't afford for it, but if I could, I would have one in my garage.

Oh definitely agree with that, but that's the case with most vehicles though.
I've got a wish list as long as my arm, but I can't compare any of em because they're all different.
You know that old "what's the first thing you'd buy if you won a huge bundle" question, my answer is always, "A Warehouse" as I'd need one for all the toys.

I said Warehouse not Whor.... oh never mind.
