Looks like so far if your coming you'll have to make your own arrangements for stay. I know a few are coming but the talk here is nothing like the past. That's to bad really. Well if anyone is staying up by Road America look me up. Thats where I'll be. 5 week's away hope to see lots of old friends.

Well thats just the way it goes sometimes Ian. Infact I don'y know if I'll be there Friday. Like I said I'm going the races. Kinda burned out a bit. I don't think my wife is to excited anylonger and to tell ya the truth my bike is in the spray booth again and I'm waiting and waiting for it at this time. Funny thing is I'm not all that excited about the riding season like past years. Don't know why just starting to feel like I've had enough of it all. I peak in here from day to day but have nothing to say really anymore.

You know I am in for that. Looking forward to it. Bads1 its too bad your lust for riding is waning. I can't wait to ride next. Stuck in Lubbock TX in 90* temps working instead of at home riding. Can't wait to meet some of the people from here.

Well I was actually on the telephone with Rocketsprink tonight and told him the same. My bike is under a cover part of it apart. Last time I looked at was the night of Daytona... that was because I had a few Buell guys over. Other then that I haven't looked at since I put it away last year October. I was going through this a bit last year but it seems the feeling is growing. Sucks to because I don't know why really.

I have been kinda the same twards fourwheeling. Ive been an avid fourwheeler for 16years. I still run events and go out but my passion for it has fallen in the past 2 years. I used to go 2 times a month now its more like once every 2 months. I think its natural to take a step back once in a while. I think its partially due to the new Buell habit I have...

Weird, ive been feeling the exact same way. Have no idea why! Ive only been "street" riding since i bought my Buell new in 06'...

What the hell is wrong with me???

I do nothing but look at youtube and streetfire video's of bikes and love talking about them to people who ask and still it takes a push out the door from my wife for me to even get on mine lately!

Maybe its just too early in the spring, i hope!

Dana, the part I'm going to miss the most this Homecoming is Erik & the Thunderbolts playing at your bar! I hope you have them again next year.

Last year I had to work the following day but I stayed until the last song was played. I was certainly tired the next day but I had a great time at your bar!

Ya, it's kind of a bummer that Buell isn't putting the same effort in this year as they have over the last couple of years but we're still planning a few things at Hal's. We have a brand new Buell Sales area that we should have all finished by Homecoming. We will be having a Grand Opening soon. We also have a few other "surprises" in the works for those looking for something fun to do. Stay tuned.
Also, I have recently been in contact with one of the local hotels and hope to have a block of rooms set up next week. We're looking at around $85 a night--that's the best deal I've been able to find. Would kind of like to know how many people might be coming. PM me or give me a call at the store-262-814-8685.

In this economy you're lucky Buell is having a Homecoming, at all.

I get in a funk when it comes to riding. I think part of it comes from the fact that I've ridden over and over all the good roads and the scenery is no longer fresh. Plus the traffic.... plus the general lack of Buell riders in my area. I think a new bike would help !!

Bud, it would be nice to do something at the Great Lakes Dragway on the Thursday night before the East Troy Open House!
Just an idea.

I am really looking forward to this year. I am kind up for a quiet, lots of standing around visiting, old fashioned Homecoming like the one in 1990.

How many folks are coming my The Lake Express Ferry? I've been playing with the idea of perhaps Dave and I meeting some folks in Muskegon, taking the boat and riding to the factory.

Long shot and nothing planned yet but it's interesting.

I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it. I'm so broke, I'm having trouble paying attention. However, I haven't given up altogether yet. I'm working on a Homecoming 2009 Enhancement; but the way things have been going, that will probably fall through as well.
Right now, I feel like I've got the Reverse Midas Touch; everything I touch turns to sh*t.
Just get through today - tomorrow will be better.

Someday I have to tell you guys a hilarious story about Homecoming (the 25th and this year). . . . . I'm not sure Erik and I could exist without our wives.

I am teaching a MSF class on that Saturday....

Just how stupid would I be to do the Friday factory tour... then drop the hammer home....

I have never seen you do an irresponsible, drop what you are doing, no planning, no money, escape trip that required more thought than that!

I must be getting (gasp) old. Standing around yacking in a parking lot sounds like fun. Looking forward to getting my bike signed by Erik. I might make some sun tea get an umbrella, some ice, and a folding chair and sit back with my feet up on one of the pegs. Hey if I fall asleep, just don't write on me with a magic marker. I wanted to camp out but even $25 is starting to seem like a lot. I may camp in my back yard and then ride there each day.
