They have money and they can hire people to run it. I dont see what the problem is. It's not like they will be attempting to assemble Ducati's

Makes sense actually when you read the article. Not many folks willing to pay $50k+ on a 'custom chopper' nowadays, so for them to broaden their market opportunities, bring in a sportbike that's comparable from a pricing standpoint to the market you already have.

Just PLEASE keep them away from 'customizing' the Duc's. I don't think I could bear to see that.

Never hurts to have a "Plan B". Good for them.

Like'm or not Paul Sr. grew a multi-million dollar business from nothing... but hard work and sacrifice. His accomplishments are a fine example of the "American Dream."

Good on him.

LOL, you KNOW they won't be able to keep their hands off of them for long. A little fabbed sheet metal here, some bolt on aftermarket bits there......

The chopper phase has peaked. Smart move for them. In all seriousness, they should add a company like Triumph too.

Jr. did come back, but in the last episode he realized things won't change and he doesn't want to keep up where it is at. This time he quit, told Sr. he was going to try something else.....open a boutique with his girlfriend. From the previews he is going to look into it and all the guys in the shop think he lost his mind.

Thing about the show is you know all these things appear to have happened months ago, with time for editing and such. So maybe after he thought about it, Jr. and Sr. came up with this idea...Jr. gets his own shop and Sr. stays out of it for the most part. I have a hard time believing they would split ties for good, but they know they can't work together so this makes perfect sense. I thought Jr. should move elsewhere and open a seperate shop with the OCC name, maybe out west, but this works too...and he stays at home.

Not so. The Family owned Iron company was handed down to him (multi million dollar business). Although he had been doing bikes around here for a while before the chopper craze hit. Once that happened Jr. put together that Spiderman bike, got it in a magazine and all hell broke loose.

They do have a Duc custom that sits in their new building (work of art that building is).

I applaud them for making more money from having money but all but Mike is a major A-hole.

Nothing says blue-collar all American like a Ducati

They couldnt open a Harley Dealer due to Maroneys being less than 1.5 miles from them. Or so I'm told.
