I stopped in the HD/Buell shop in Waterford, Ireland a couple of weeks back. Not the mega mall HD like here but a nice shop none the less. There was an 1125r and a City X right up front. They said that they had sold 5 Buells all of last year and only one so far this year. I got myself a couple of T shirts including a Buell 25th. Cute young girl behind the counter with white & pink hair said she was getting a City X as soon as she could.

Despite the poor weather (damp & 40s-50s), there were a lot of bikes on the street. Everyone had either full racing leathers or wet weather gear. Mostly Jap sport/tour style bikes with a few beemers too. I saw one older HD parked on the street. At one point a club of 30 or 40 sport bikes went down the main drag of Waterford. Looked like fun.

It seemed to be a pretty active bike scene as far as I could tell. You can't rent a bike in Ireland due to insurance regulations. You can rent one in Northern Ireland though.

Just to help you all out should you ever visit "The North" it's pronounced "Norn-iron".
