Ok guys, I know jack about LED lighting and such and while I'm rebuilding the M2 (see the "And so it begins..." thread in Old School), I want to add some Orange LED's to the mix.

If anyone knows of some great kits for good prices let me know please! Thanks!

These guys are a little pricey but well worth it. There product is extremely durable.

I've also bought from this seller on Ebay. The LED quality is the same as Custom Dynamics. The casing isn't as durable, as well as the inner wiring of the Ebay deal is just put in the casing. CD puts this apoxy type stuff inside to fight the moisture off and protect the internal wiring.

I have a blue wheel pod setup from custom dynamics on my old man's H/D. After the dealership filled his tires with nitro, they put a bigger valve stem cap on. Over time it destroyed the outer casing because of the stem hitting it every rotation. It has done nothing to the wiring or LED.

I had two of the Ebay orange pods on my 9r. Just the vibration of the bike cased the pod case under my seat to fall off. Once moisture hit the LED, it fried. Pick your poison.

That's some pics from the Black Betty project that I'm assuming is still in progress. I just got a $281.00, 5" cubed box from Liberty. I may have to take the rest of the day off and start building, we leave in 24 days.

Great deal, I thought.
He will configure them any way you want.
I got some blue and some white.
Comes with a neat little plunger switch, need your own fuse.
Easy to install.

Scroll down that thread and there's some pics of the orange Boogeylights kit I had on my 2000. The cut-n-click kits are currently $160, but they look damn good and can be hidden anywhere.

After installing these, I bought another kit of purple this time because the orange looked like sh!t when glowing on my orange plastics.

The kits offered are changed from time to time. My first kit came with 60-something LEDs and a remote switch. The second kit has 78 LEDs but no remote switch.

BTW the pics of the orange are really inaccurate. The camera only picked up hot spots and doesn't show the smooth glow which is the greatest part of these kits. Imagine the orange color but with the smooth glow that can be seen in the pics of the purple kit on the Black Betty thread. The purple are actually ultraviolet so don't mess with what the camera picks up as much.
