I would like to wish this great community a sincere farewell. I sold my XB12S last night to a friend so I could get another bike. I would have kept the XB if I could have afforded to.

Didn't think I would get all teary eyed and emotional letting the little beasty go, but such is life. I told my friend about this great site and hopefully he will become a contributing member here. What a great sense of community here.

I will still have to lurk and see what is happening with all. Peace friends.

Once a Bueller, always a Bueller.

I am currently bikeless. Do you think I am really leaving THIS place?

BIKELESS!?!?!

WTF?

What's your next move?

Fly up to Green Bay and I will put your right-wing Republican ass onto my spare and we can go for a ride.

For the right price, I will let you ride one of them home.

I have only had one bikeless season in the last 24 years and I HATED IT!

I'm not happy about being bikeless, but I had to be an adult. I'm hoping to have one as soon as possible.

100% commissions sucks when the market is bad.

I'll only be bikeless for about 4 weeks. I'm waiting for my Streetfighter S which is having its North American launch on May 22.

I have spent some time on a couple of Duc sites to get familiar but have to say I don't feel the tight sense of community I have felt with BadWeb. Hopefully time will change that.

I did keep my Buell Vanson jacket...

Yeah, not quite. Just trying not to feel like a sell out.

We're like herpes.

So I will not post for a long time and then almost unexpectedly start posting at a blistering pace.

At least your new bike is a very sweet and sexy one. If I could own 2 street bikes I think I would get a streetfighter S because the only black is the S. That bike made my jaw drop at the DC bike show. I just couldn't justify the almost 25K Canadian dollar for it.

Freezerburn,

Hey I haven't owned a Buell since 2005. I was here when BadWeB was an e-mail group. I came for the bikes and stayed for the people. I'm still a huge fan of Erik and the company. I'm still actively involved in several Buell projects. It's all good.

Stick around, it'll be fun. Former Buell owners that adopt a new brand are like reformed smokers. They think they're better than us, really annoying and make me like my Buell/ smokes even more.

Hey - no reason not to hang out. People don't change because of their hardware.

I still hang out on the SV boards.

Got a couple Buells, 2 Hondas, one Yamaha, one Suzuki in the garage. It's all good.

It doesn't matter WHAT you ride, what matters is THAT you ride!

I haven't found much love on the Ducati sites either. DucatiM.S. has a lot of clicks and seems like it is a add carbon fiber and look at in the garage group. There are some people that ride on there but just never felt the warmth with any posts or replies to what I have posted.

Good luck with the S it is a sweet bike.
I currently have a 2002 998 mono and was lusting after a holdover 07 S4RS Monster but it got sold. had to fill the hole in my heart with a new 06 HD V-rod vrscr street rod

Do they complain about the lack of good dirt tires for 12" rims? Do they retrofit lawn mower motors to improve power?

MudBug doesn't buy groceries. He cooks the critters he runs over in the woods and gathers leaves and such for salads. Why do u think he needs 45 cubic feet of storage on a cityX converted to a dirt bike?
