The modified look will do nicely! I am actually looking for the lock itself because the previous owner deleted everything under the seat. If I can modify a lock to work as stock I would be in hog heaven. What style do you practice? I use to be envolved in Enshin Kia.

Winchester 1300 pump holding 5 3" magnum slugs.
Or maybe the S&W .357 7 shooter or my own little favorite the Ruger Blackhawk .45 single action revolver.

I dont need karate so long as I have access to my guns.

I dunno. My Sensei is 5'4" 130 pounds of dynomite. At one of our demostrations I watched him crush a full sized block of cement with his bare fist. If he wasn't a nice fellow I would shudder to think of what he could do to somebody. Guns are OK but the true measure of any man is not having to use them.

Have any of you ever even fired a Benelli M1-Combat? Hows about double tapped 2 3" sabot rounds out of one? There's just something beautiful about a rifle that can let go of more rounds at a higher muzzle velocity in one SECOND than a 9mm pistol in nearly a minute. Kicks like a frickin blackbelt though...

Oh, and Ju-Jitsu rocks ; ).

LOL, sometimes you can force one thru real ez.

Teo, while those demonstrations of brick breaking are real cute, in the real world they are useless. Years ago there was a man here in town by the name of Mike Jackson...no jokes about jacko either..anyways he was a certified badass. Owned his own karate studio, had god knows how many blackbelts, won many competitions, etc. And on top of it all he was a good man. Didnt brag about how much ass he could kick. One night there was a disturbance right outside his studio..just so happened a bar was located next door. It was domestic fight where a women was getting beat on by her boyfriend. Mike went to intervene & the boyfriend pulled a gun & shot & killed him.

Moral of the story is never take a knife to a gun fight.

BTW..that old bs about the bigger they are the harder they fall was created by a little dude: D I watched a number of Ultimate fighting competitions & everytime they matched a little guy up against a much bigger man..the little dude got his ass handed to him.

best one I ever saw was this guy about 130-140 lbs against some guy who must have weighed 300+. The little guy is jumping around & spinning & kicking, etc etc. The big guy is just stepping back a bit & watching him. The little guy comes at him & tries to kick & this guy just catches him in midair & body slammed his ass to the ground, then proceeds to pound the guy in the head with his elbow. After maybe 3 blows he completely knocked the little guy out.

Gracie Vs. Severn UFC ?IV? I think.

It has nothing to do with strength, size, weight, (although weight seems to be the most important) it's all about technique. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Guns are cool, but they run out of bullets, get jammed, break, you get surprised etc... I say bring knives, guns, sniper rifles, martial arts, a tank and maybe poison to a knife fight : ). Oh, and brass knuckles. Just only use what you need to.

Almost all the matches turn into wrestling submission deals. And the guy with the better size & weight usually prevails.

Boy I'm sorry that I even mentioned martial arts. I do wonder however how many of the gunslingers can actually touch their toes without bending their knees, run a mile in under 8 minutes and fight full contact for three two minute rounds and not be out of breath. In the subject of bigger they are the harder they fall I'm 6' 6" 240 lbs. I can fall and then I get up again. Sorry for antagonizing anybody but please think about the others persons commitments to their "art" before cutting them up.

Used it for just about everything!

Yeah she makes me shudder too,but only in the morning.

No, the guy with the better skills prevails "almost" always. It may be the bigger guy a good deal of the time, but I assure you, it's the technique that matters. I've fought big guys, little guys, skilled guys, newbies, golden gloves, state champ Grecco Roman Rasslers, Ai-Kido students, Shotokan Karate, Ju-Do (another very effective art, they just don't focus much on "finishing" the fight) etc... Every time I've been beaten its been because the guy had better skills or I got gassed and gave up. It's usually the skills thing. I have not been beaten by anyone but a Ju-Jitsu player, but I haven't fought too many fights where my opponent didn't know at least a bit of Ju-Jitsu. If size was a good deal of the equation I would be a much more successful fighter... I weigh 205lbs and am 5'9".

For something like size and weight to make a large difference there would have to be more randomness to the fight (something VERY prevalent in street fights...). There isn't much. It's MUCH more like a chess match than most people think. Everything is calculated and has a certain cost and profit (or loss) associated with it.

After having said that, I'll add that I'm a big fan of guns too though...

Got a gun or even a Louisville slugger & you dont need to touch your toes or run a mile. Point is, if some clown comes up to me & tries to pull some Bruce Lee shit, they are either going to be picking splinters out of their teeth from the bat or bleeding from several large bullet holes. Screw that hand to hand combat crap. This is the real world & gangsta style combat is the order of the day: D

Ewwww....Wrestling....I hate wrestling. Man, I just don't want to get that close to any Street Urchin. They usually smell bad and you never know what you can catch from them.

Just prefer to stay as far upwind a Mat Monkey as I can. Much prefer the relatively vertical techniques of opponent elimination if you can't avoid a confrontation.

No dancing, just quick execution. Then nothing but assholes and elbows to get away before "it" comes to and the cops get there.

Well, If the opponent knows nothing of grappling then you have that option. If they do, then they have gravity working both for them AND against you... I'm not saying that there's no point to standing strikes as there sure as heck is, but I am just a fan of practicing more than one style. Preferably one standing (I would choose Ju-Do or Shotokan) and one grappling (I chose Jiu-Jitsu). The only reason I would choose those is that they take full advantage of my body style.

"I just don't want to get that close to any Street Urchin"

Most folks don't have a clue when it comes to grappling so when you take them down there's really no need to get close. You can go for a straight blood choke (arteries as opposed to air, takes four seconds and they sleep like a baby) or a standard arm bar type situation. The former is good because no one gets hurt and it's quick, the latter is good because all your important parts are either away from your opponent or covered. All they have to do is take the first swing. Once that happens you force them to not only react to what you do but also stop doing what they have already committed to. The trick is to bait them into striking. It doesn't matter if it's with a bat or a knife or a fist... Granted... I'd probably be the guy getting my head bashed in by a good old Loiseville Slugger 'cause I'm too slow : ).
