looking for a pair of size 34 armored zip on bottoms. Planning to run the 1125 at the drags , and rules stipulate leathers zipped to jacket. Just probably doing this for fun, so I'm not looking to spend much. Anybody got an old pair they'd be willing to sell? I can have zippers matched , so brand/color is not any issue...thanks , Paul | ||

Shop on eBay or Craigslist. Got my last 2 pairs and a set for my son all less than 125.00 each. His set of Vansons was 95.00.My Kushitanis were 110.00 on CL. | ||

Check the BBS that covers racing organizations - they're usually good resources - though doubt that you're going to find 2-piece on racing BBS's | ||

Bott, it may seem a pain to be required to have full leathers, but the dragstrip in question seems to have a strong safety program....most tracks only require jackets for street bikes....thumbs up from me.. | ||

I'd sure like to see a '25 run set up with proper bars and a 8" slick. That would be fun...plenty of grunt to launch well and enough steam for a decent back half...yup..fun indeed...maybe toss in a 30 or 40 hp shot o smurf squeezins...you know it's runnin' when you get tunnel vision in the traps. | ||

How tall are you, and what do you weigh? I have an older set of Z1R leathers I was going to sell for around $100 plus shipping. I don't know the size, but I'm around 6' tall and they fit me best when I was at around 180. Sound like they might work? If I remember right, I think leathers are required at our local track for any bike capable of dropping into the 10s. | ||

Most tracks require full leathers if you run over 120, my stock 750 gix will do over that as will all liter bikes and bigger. | ||

Bill, yup, may work I'm 5'9 175#. Gonna run at Lebanon Valley Dragway, upstate NY .They are fully NHRA and were on 2 episodes of 'Pinks' last year. | ||

Hey Bott, I took out those leathers and looked them over. They are a snug 44R. If you want, I can send you some pics and measurements and you can see if you're interested.
