Add some Oregon karma to the Colorado stream Elf is sending your way. Hopefully by now you're already in the recovery room. |

Good luck Corporate. Get well soon and get back out on the road. Hang in there and keep a good attitude. Dark times always have a way of making the good times shine a little brighter. Bill |

The monkey is out, but heavily sedated. Still sending all the good Khrama I gots over to the Emerald City. Surely the Wizard will help, if the Wizard is a Wiz who will serve. |

I am alive I woke up a little while ago in my own bed at home. I don't know how I got here. The Dr. left me note to say they gave me amnesia drugs. I do not have a firm idea how the procedure went, my throat is very raw. I do have a stack of photographs of my inside, so I suspect I will hear from the Dr later on. I am so very confused about today. |

Waking up alive is a VERY good start! Hopefully they will clue you in soon. After all the fretting, and now being in the dark has to be frustrating. Keep us posted, we'll keep you on the list. Rotzaruck! (Message edited by rotzaruck on April 24, 2009) |

I have looked through my goodies. I guess I have to be on daily medication now (prilosec), instead of as needed. And I have a business card for a specialist surgeon, with a note to call him, this could only mean the Dr is thinking surgery. I found out how I got home. I guess I wanted to walk (several miles), and my associate had to hold me back while waiting for a taxi. I guess I was singing the entire time, entertaining everyone around. I am so F'ing embarrassed

"I am so F'ing embarrassed" Don't be! Most of us have done something similar with nothing more than BAC as an excuse. You were acting crazy under doctor's orders. Glad you're OK. Bill |

I am so F'ing embarrassed HaHa. Aren't drugs great?!? Glad you made it through this round and here's hoping the coming weeks and months will be better. Keep us all up to date on the convo with the doc. We will all be here for continuing support. Again, good luck and hope you come through with minimal damage. |

Versed and Fentanyl, great drugs. That's probably what you got. The versed is the amnesic. Help's relieve apprehension. I worked in a GI clinic for a short time and administered these drugs to the patients. Just go to sleep and don't remember anything afterwards. Hope all went well and that if surgery is the next step, we'll pray for you and that the doctors hands will be watched over. Glad you're out and done with this part. |

"I am alive I woke up a little while ago in my own bed at home. I don't know how I got here. The Dr. left me note to say they gave me amnesia drugs." Good to hear of your recovery. When I had my teeth removed in oral surgery, they gave me liquid Valium. I had my buddy chaperone me to/from the visit. Knew I was gonna be driven home in a stupor, so I had a cassette tape cued to Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb". On the way home we stopped at Kroger. Fun trip. He was headed to dentist school in Memphis, so I had the Doc let my buddy in to watch. halfway through, I start to wake. See the Doc IN my face, wrenching on another tooth. Buddy overseeing. "Nurse, he's coming around- give him another shot. OK ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Late that afternoon I was working on my RZ350, totally lucid- but I bled in my mouth for a week. |

ersed and Fentanyl, great drugs. That is what I got. Last time I had this done, they used the same medication, with a valium chaser. I liked that much better. |

waking up is good! was glad to hear it, you've had a lot of good vibes headed your way. i believe it was george burns who replied to the question of the secret of living a long life as "wake up every morning". seems like a good idea. |

I remember the last surgery I had. I was supposed to be out. They were having a party and playing an album from war, and singing to it. They were just having a great time. I figure the reason I wasn't all the way out was they must have shared my medicine with me. They were amazed when I started talking. That was a pretty neat cocktail they served. 25 people in the room? were they smiling at you a little funny afterwords? Sounds like they gave you a date rape drug. Glad to hear your still alive. |

Let me know when you are ready to ride, we will go celebrate out Highway 20 way, it opened yesterday ! |

Jamie, I've been taking the daily Prilosec for a couple of years now to hopefully head off what you have been through. The Dr. says there is no problem with that. I have read that other digestive problems may creep up but I guess that's still better than the alternative. We've been trying to send positive vibes your way so they must be working. Keep up the good attitude and we'll help you pull through. My wife wanted to go shopping one time after an outpatient procedure. She was still pretty drugged up and it was hilarious at the stores. The clerks probably thought she was drunk or something. Then she got mad at me when I told her about it, I just said "I never get in the way of your shopping hon." |

Ever wanted to see the inside of a Monkey? I scanned in the photo set that I was given. The photos are clickable if you want them larger. These will most likely only make sense to JumpingJewels.
