This past weekend was the opening of Buell-Koeln (known to most English speaking people as Cologne). The special guest was none other than Erik Buell. Pictures from the XBORG Forum (the German equivalent of Badweb) can be seen here:

As the pic one of my buddies in Germany sent me from his cell phone shows, an appearance by Erik is not complete without a little musical interlude:

P.S. I am also digging the new Buell logo and suspect we are about to see a complete "rebranding" with some of the changes coming at Buell.

There are a lot of great pics on that link but I think my favorite is the bagger up on the back tire.

Ummm.........

In German, the word for the city known in English as "Cologne" is "Köln", with an umlaut over the "o".

I thought they stuck in an e when the typewriter didn't have an umlaut.

Regarding the "rebranding", check out Erik's shirt with the new Pegasus logo on the back, and new font for "Buell" on the front. Nice!

OK, Court, when will be able to buy one?

Very limited at present, as are the new stickers and patches. Be patient. . won't be long. Took me 2 weeks to score a Geico Powersports Race shirt . . . . Grrrrr.

There is some WAY COOL stuff in the works . . what an amazing company.
