looks like it might have been done for a disabled passenger. If so, neat idea. |

Huh. The bike in the back looks pretty sweet. Unfortunately, their website is literally blank. ~SM |

That is for side car racing aka side-hack racing. Pretty sweet |

Don't think it's a hack racing outfit.. Sidecar wheel is too large; the hacks use kart-size ones. There is a seat backrest built in; a racing hack has a flat floor with open back so the hack rider can get prone. And some other details, including the fact that the bike itself is a street-bike with mirrors and turn indicators. |

Disabled passenger?, I think it is for a disabled rider. Look at the seat. |

I believe you are right.... it's designed for a disabled/wheelchair bound rider. You pull the chair into the "sidecar" and then, i guess, pull yourself up onto the seat. That is too cool! |

Those guys seem a bit touchy-feely, disturbing. Do you think the trike is for "The" Gimp |

An X1 chopped for a good cause at last! Also, that's damn near the blazing orange / volcano grey color scheme I'd like to use on an X1 some time.. |

I bet she learned real fast that she can't back out of a stall she would have to park just right or have some guys push her, I would help. This reminds of this friend of mine who has one hand and thanks to the war, He now has that hook style prosthetic but that didn't stop him he made up a lever that has a shape like large comb with big spaces between for his hook to catch and not slide around the lever. |

i just spoke with the owner/builder, Greg. he is the guy seated on the green trike, he built this buell for himself, it is all hand controlled. said he built it with stuff he had in his shop, used a front wheel for the sidehack wheel, and the wheelchair comes apart to store on the hack. very cool dude. says the pic was taken for two wheel tuner's june issue. i asked about the model, he said it was like 40 degrees, that's why she's wearing so many clothes!!! the website is under construction, will be updated soon hopefully. |

THAT IS SO KEWL. Saw a real neat rig at Wal-Mart. This dude had custom built a {great} rig for his severely handicapped son. They were passin thru, heading to the Gap. They rode the continent, always able to kick over to the wheelchair as necessary. Makes me want to learn to weld and fabricate in a metal/woodshop. Gonna check into that SHWEET Buell rig. My old buds should have them visit. |

I'm pretty sure that photo was taken at the Fort Loudon Dam, approaching Lenoir City. At the merge ramp from Tellico Village. Good ridin. Ooops- actually, thats probably Fontana Dam. Even better ridin!! (Message edited by 86129squids on April 23, 2009) |

Sure would like to see more pix of the carbon-fiber'd X1 hack. In person, that would be an instant hit at the annual Griffith Park Sidecar rally in October. And the model on it too would be over-the-top icing on the cake! |
