had a stick on "sun visor" on my clear shield. The new bike changed riding position, and it was really in the way. Tried goof off, didnt touch it. Its an older AGV Demon, and clear shields are now around $60 bucks prolly cause its a discontinued model. any ideas on what to use that wont harm clear plastic? |

Try WD40. It has served well for removing slime left behind by adhesives. |

+1 WD-40. Goof off never seems to work for me on any of the items it is supposed to easily remove. |

Gently warm it up and work it off. If that doesn't work, then WD-40, Pledge, or real "adhesive remover" -Bill |

Best stuff is this (if you can get it there): http://www.desolvit.co.uk/ Removes tar spots from bikes too. Then WD40. |

Baby oil removes almost everything - Really stubborn? - Scrape w/ a popsicle stick. - Then clean oil off w/ warm water & dish detergent |

tried wd40,didnt touch it. the sticker has been sunbaked for 2 seasons. I do have some adhesive/paint remover, but I'm worried about using it on polycarbonate or whatever the shield is....maybe use it as a "safety issue" to get the misses to let me get a new lid |

My friend used the wrong stuff on his and it immediately cracked and fractured into tons of little pieces but did not fall apart it was shattered but intact it was weird. DAM $60 for clear!! what ever that is weak, I can get a top of the line ICON colored any color i want for $35 and there bullet proof literally! |
