WOW! How friggin' exciting was that? 5 brands in the top 5 swapping the lead. It was amazing! A little weight added here, a little weight subtracted there. I don't think it could have made it any better. I NEVER watched motorcycle racing before. I found it boring. I am hooked on Sportbike. Still couldn't care less about Superbike or MotoGP. Just WOW! | ||

I don't believe the newly added weight was in effect at ATL. I thought it was going to be added for the next race. Even though the Buells are still over even the new weight number, even before the ATL race. | ||

I understand about the weight. This race was exciting without the "performance equalization" measures. If the new weight is meant to make the bikes even more "even", the next race will be really close. | ||

this race great. had me on the edge of my couch the whole time. the best part was my 8 year old daughter walked in half way thru and was immediately hooked also! she sat there with me for the rest of the race cheering buell on! | ||

cool track. I find it somewhat amazing that folks were complaining about the speed and acceleration of the Buells when the cardenas suzi was pulling off the passes that he was-which were sweet to watch. I couldn't imagine accelerating like he was coming over the hill into the drop... | ||

if I remember correctly, the DMG weight increase doesn't hurt the Buell because it's being raced at well over that minimum weight right now anyway | ||

It's really a 5lb decrease for the IL4's. At least they will feel better about it a little bit. |
