Ken Rockewell sold me . . . No doubt about it, the D90 is as good or better than it's $1,800. $2,700 and $5,000 and $8,000 (D300, D700, D3, D3X) competition. I'm going with the D90 and a couple top quality lens. Which lens did you shoot the above with? It's (as I've come to expect from you) spectacular work!

quote:

For you techies, as you can see at my Nikon D90, D3, D300 and D200 Sharpness Comparison, for use in daylight, the D90 renders images identical to the $5,000 Nikon D3. Of course the D3 shoots faster for sports, but the images are as good, the rear LCD is identical, and the D90 has a few new convenience features that weren't invented back when the D3 came out.

Also for you techies, in my Nikon D90, D3, D300 and D200 ISO 3,200 Comparison, I discovered that the Nikon D90 is even a bit better in low light than the $1,800 D300.

Finally a freestyle trick that *I* am an expert at! I can do that too!

(Oh wait, that wasn't freestyle?)

I owned a '73 CB500 "back in the day", rode it for 7 years. Commuting, pleasure and a few 550 Production races. Even won a few races with it.
That 500 was as reliable as an anvil, providing the oil was kept clean and full.
