You got that right...
The series was Bubba's to lose from the start. Reed is an extraordinary rider; Bubba is just that little bit better.

Plus if Reed wins, I owe Danger_Dave a Pint.

It was good to see Windham on the podium too. One of the old guard fighting against the crop of fast new kids. Plus I've always liked his riding style.

I went to that race saturday, and I can say from watching it up close that Reed ran as well as I have ever seen him run against Bubba, and it was Bubba that crashed in his heat race, and he was very wild around the course, that being said the guy is amazing to even hold onto that bike the way he rides, gotta admire that wide open mentality, Reed on the other hand has the mindset of keep his points lead, finish second and force Bubba to have to win every race to get the championship. If Bubba crashes, he loses, if he doesn't crash he is 100% a victor, that is an amazing statistic, so if he slips up in Utah, Seattle or Vegas and Reed wins just one more race, Bubba will not be able to overtake him on points, so really the pressure is on Bubba, not Reed. Either way I was very lucky to see live probably the best race of the year. Every rider out there was moving incredibly fast, also Ricky Carmichael showed up and did some hot laps with Andrew Short, Bubba and Reed, he is still amazing. I haven't read about Niko yet, they took him off on the stretcher....any news?
