Ruskie's biggest is rumored to be 100 megaton. It's been a long time since I used to care, I think it was supposed to effect a 600 mile across area. Drop it on Chicago and Indianapolis would know about it right now.

Side note: How do you get blood to flow as deep as the horses bridal for two hundred furlongs with out coagulating?
Irradiate it.

The Tsar Bomba was designed as a 100 megaton nuke but was reduced to 50 megatons because at that yield it was 97% clean, in regards to fallout. The 100 megaton bomb, if detonated, would have increased total world background radiation by 25% and if deployed on western Europe, in a conflict, would have spread deadly radiation on the Warsaw Pact.

Where did we lose our zeal for freedom and independence?

One little "change" at a time.

And to think that some people can't understand why they need to take history class. I continue to be amazed at how out of touch with the founding father's beliefs some of our present leaders are.

Don't believe for a SECOND that it isn't by design.

I keep thinking to the Pol Pot doctrine of Cambodia where we are at Year Zero with NO history before this point.

I do think it odd that the same people who were screaming about how "unconstitutional" Bush's actions are are conspicuously silent about the actions of our current Comrade in Chief.

Please explain where the justification for TARP exists in the Constitution. Please point out the specific passage where firing the CEO of a major corporation falls under the purview of the Executive Branch. Where is the authority to force banks to take money they don't want in return for preferred stock shares they don't want to issue? How exactly does the constitution give the right to the Federal Government to set and limit executive compensation?

Unlike the wire tapping of foreign nationals hostile to the United States, real rights are being eroded here, and all the press can talk about is how forward looking Michelle Obama's fashion is.

Kruschev believed that superior technology would get him the defeat of the west. He was right, but he didn't get his way because we, with a capitalist system did it better.

In the works from 100 megatons ( they used lead instead of Uranium in the 3rd stage to limit the power ) which did damage a real long way away, ( so much it scared the Russians ) to the ultimate weapon, a 1 gigaton job that would set fire to the entire continental U.S. when detonated 100 miles up over Kansas, the Energia rocket failed, ( killing many including the head rocket guy ) delaying the delivery system & Nikita lost influence.

Thank the Gods.

I would say the same thing about the majority of voters in the U.S.

I vote Libertarian...not because I expect them to win (those guys are as unrealistic as any other utopian political group), but because they believe in the Constitution and individual freedom (both social and economic) and so do I. I think that when enough of us vote for what we really want and not some perceived left-or-right-wing "party", the two major parties will be compelled to take notice and change their policies/platforms so they can stay in power. The way it is right now, both parties know that it will be one or the other of them in power, regardless of what they do. They have a "we're the only game in town so why should we change" attitude and, with the way most people vote, they're right.

I'm digging this innovation way of dealing with ILLEGAL aliens . . . . simply have them fill out a "residency card" and poof . . . . 250,00 are citizens . . . problem solved.

The announcer, who was reading the news report today on the radio, was kinda ticked but admitted he'd been her for 5 years from France trying to gain citizenship the legal way so he was not objective.

Yes, some moron in government called for a moratorium on all illegal immigration raids so that illegals feel comfortable enough and trust the government to provide honest answers to census workers.

We want them to feel at home, hell we are providing them with public education, health care access /subsidies, financial aid, preferential lending status and of course you now have to press '2' everywhere to hear anything in English.
We wouldnt want to damage their self esteem or delicate sensibilities by calling them illegal....
Welcome to USSA. I'm glad I have my visa already in hand. Its a grand time to be an American, overseas.
