When I pull the front brake, I am getting a Thunk.... Thunk.... Thunk... noise when making a stop...

Sitting in the Garage,
When I hold the brake and push on the bike I can see the front rotor moving just a little clockwise and counter clockwise...

I have checked the mounting hardware and its all tq'd like it should be...

Whats the fix?
I was thinking I would replace all the mounting hdwr and see what that does....
Any other thoughts?

Have you replaced the rotor in the past?

Mine does it too. It's the 'isolators' in the wheel that allow the rotor to float.

Al has some!

I'm told that it's not a safety issue so I'm leaving it until I replace my front tire

When you take the rotor off you will see little spacers, springs, and square du-das. Those are the isolators that are there to absorb the shock. You probably wore them out.
