Ferst Lady Michelle Obama showed up thursday as a surprise and welcome volunteer ayt Miriam's kitchen. A soup kitchen for homeless poor people not far from the White House. she brought with her food donated by white house staff. The first lady served up mushroom risotto and brocoli to a long line of homeless men and women during part of her lunch hour and poses for a homeless man obviously excited by the first lady's prescence. It doesn't detract from the first lady' generous gesture or the real needs she seeks to highlight. but it does seem to highlight to two bothersome questions about the photo. If this unidentified man is to poor to buy his own food, how can he afford a cellphone? If he is homeless where do they send the cell phone bill?  | ||

Things that make you go "Hmmm"... Gotta keep this thread goin until we get an answer. Mebbe there IS a reason. Do they have pre-paid throwaway cel phones like that? Mebbe he'd sold enough crack to pick one up at the 7/11 just before he went to Miriam's for lunch. |
