not at all happy with my Simpson. $500 mistake. Very noisy, crappy shield retention, and the liner broke down very quicky. |

"Lingerie is for looks, helmets are for protection." That, as some might say, is an accurate statement. Examples: This young lady is NOT ready to go ride her motor scooter. She has forgotten the cardinal rule, above.
Here we have someone who understands the importance of the helmet, but is wearing completely inappropriate lingerie for riding:
Now THIS is appropriate riding lingerie. Note the use of metal studs in the leather to help with abrasion protection in the event of a fall:
She still needs a helmet though... This young woman has almost all of the requisite ingredients for safe riding.
Unfortunately, her footwear is not quite up to par. Ahh, at last! Here is a young lady in proper helmet, riding jacket, gloves and boots. Jeans offer marginal protection at best, but should be adequate on a BattleTrax course (where she is in the process of, according to Reg Kittrelle, setting the record for most laps completed at a single BattleTrax event!)
Way to go Carolina! Thank you for your kind attention. HellBuelly J "Cogito ergo Buell; I think, therefore I ride a Buell." --Rene' "I Ain't A Girl" Descartes |
