Ventura rack system can handle that and then some.

Will the Ventura fit on an 1125? How easy is complete install/removal?

Hmmm I don't know if they sell it for the 1125. I know they make it for the 12r so I bet it'll fit. Its quick to install.

Hmmm...No pricing, and I'm afraid it will foul the turn signals on the chopped tail.

I'll have to call and see if they can give price and some measurements.

Al sell's it for 375.00. I bought one for my bike just a couple months ago. You see in the picture a big bag. You can actually put two of those on it.

Sounds like a ton of good capacity. If I can be sure it will work with my tail section, I think I'm gonna be giving American Sport Bike a call.

Thanks!!!

Just camp where I'm going to camp and you don't need much

Do you have room in a cooler for some brews???

The more I look at that spot you posted the more I think it is what I am going to do.

I did not see it on their web site but to you know if they have wireless access?

I sound like a geek. Next thing you know I will need to go to Starbucks everyday.

LOL!! I definitely don't need starbucks, but a few STRONG cups of coffee are definitely preferred...I did learn from my uncle while he was on night shift in the USAF, and now find my caffine addiction very helpful in the 12+ hours days in the IT field.

If I have to, I'll just pack a few dozen of those "5-hour energy" drinks to hold me over.

That looks like a great place to camp and I suspect . . . . if you need. . . I can arrange coffee delivery.

: )

I've got a friend who lives nearby.

Ponti1, I am known for over packing. I often carry a stove, coffee pot and several cups when camping. The Uly makes that easy to do.

Nothing like a little Cowboy Coffee to get you going!

I think this little camping trip is going to be fun.

Frank - is Lynn coming? I *nearly* have Kim talked into camping as a valid way to stay somewhere. We just spent a week in Key West for our anniversary, and the price of the B&B compared to the price of the campground I always stayed at in college, combined with the ability to cook for ourselves at the campground (not even a coffee pot at the B&B) has her thinking seriously about it. Homecoming could be a good practice run for her! (Me, I'll camp any day. Drink all I want and for some reason if I sleep on the ground...never a hangover. <shrug>; )

Worst case, if I come alone...somebody save me enough room for a Uly and a prone, lanky 6'4" guy. Park me with the bikes, I tend to snore ; )

Court: you are too funny. Shipping & receiving. I bet, LOL ; )

Joe, Lynn will not make it this year. She is doing her Masters and that has priority. I am flying her out to WI in Sept so she can visit with family. That is how i justified going to Homecoming without her.

I am thinking the camping thing is the way to go for me this year. Cheap enough that it will not impact the budget. (I just did my Taxes LOL)

You can't sleep in my tent!

Since I'm hauling my bike I can bring the a camping stove and a grill. I will have enough tools with me and some parts too. There is no wireless axis there. Tried it last year. There is a walmart less than a mile from the camp ground. You have to drive by if to get to the camp ground. You guys are welcome to my stuff and if we need to do a beer run we can hop in the truck and go.

Should we make this the camping spot for home coming? And when we make reservations say we are here for buell home coming so we get near each other.

Yes!

I have never been there but it looks like all the tent camping is in one area. I will give them a call this week to see if we can mention Buell Homecoming and get situated together so we do not bother the "normal" people.

This is WILD! How many Buellers come from throughout the country? Any international visitors? I was thinking of going to one of the "big" bike rallies, but an all-Buell gathering would all that cooler. Hey Court, does Erik make any appearances at the factory/tour or event?

Erik had an autograph session last year outside the factory, was at the track for the demos and race (don't know about the track day event though, we didn't go to that one), and he and his band played a show at an outdoor place the last night of the event.

He's definitely a presence : )

B00,

Last year we had a group from Brazil, a gent from Israel, a couple of fellas from Germany, a couple (Buelliebob and his wife) from Australia, and one fella from Japan who just happened to be staying at the host hotel on business during the 25th (he was stoked). (Sorry if I missed anyone!)

You will most likely meet Erik at the factory, or at the place where he'll do his performance with the band.

So just to catch up (and make sure we get a reservation at the right place) - the CountryView campground is "da place"?

Welcome to the madness . . . I see you are new.

We've been doing these since Erik walked without a limp, Dave Gess had brown hair and I was skinny. There were only like 12 Buells in the USA then but we had fun.

I've been at Homecoming events where there were 8 Buell owners . . . I've seen hundreds . . . . last year was simply off the charts . . . they were here from the countries above and others . . the folks who came with Vickie and I came from Australia.

There is a formal autograph session (HD learned this stuff with Willie G) but you will seldom have any problem getting Erik to give you an autograph . . he gets as excited as a parent at a kids graduation. This year may be a bit tougher as he's recovering from surgery a bit slower than expected. . . I suggested it was age and he slammed the phone down . . . so I'd avoid that topic. : )

This year will be "in theory" kind of quiet but I think there is a chance a couple interesting things will develop.

I'm an optimist.

By the way . . . if you guys need coffee catered to the camp grounds let me know. .

Thats awesome. How long have you been riding Buells Court? I'm looking forward to this, and getting ourt of Maryland for a while. Never been to Midwest except Ohio. Can't wait to hear those Wisconsin accents!

Rat, that place looks good. The other campsite had a no drinking rule which I could not do haha. Anyone know the difference between a tentsite and campsite? The only price difference is 2 bucks (23-25) but other than that.

I can live with wireless, bed, dry ground, sleep and showers but not coffee!

What say my camping friends?

Coffee delivered! Sounds like heaven.
